Company has worked hard to improve openness and overall culture in the past couple of years (2017-2018) - e.g. flexible working, working from home, investment in communal staff areas, open forums for internal sharing of ideas, etc.
Great environment to experience a wide variety of business customers and requirements, particularly if you're technology-minded or enjoy all things eCommerce.
Professional people overall, but thankfully retain a good sense of humour always, in what can be a frustrating environment at times due to client demand and limited resources.
Wonderful place to work if you're looking to learn a lot at a lower-mid level, and enjoy taking onus by getting your hands dirty!

Was at times very militant with expenses policy, for example on one of many instances I was asked to waiver a £12.50 2-person staff lunch from my expense sheet, having been 250 miles away from the office in London with an overnight stay, whereby the admin person also asked (rather embarrassingly) the other staff member to reimburse me for his share of the bill! Definite room for improvement there, particularly with outward perspective.
I also noticed the overtime policy was very poor indeed, unpaid, for the limited staff members it should have been applicable to. Client-related travel was never counted fully as work time for all staff including IT Consultants / Account Managers. Acceptable for some roles (such as my own at the time), but not for others, particularly when the company policy is one of staff being regularly held accountable to clocking machine and overzealous HR if under-time.
Limited opportunities to be promoted at any form of senior / strategic level, as strategic management far too 'clicky' and definitely lacking outside business perspective (all Directors been with the business for 20+ years).

Slave labour. Family run. Too much work and pressure on ridiculously low pay. Blame culture. Aggressive clients who mock the employees. Not a nice environment to work in.
