Sometimes you get to learn about quantum mechanics and black holes from leadership, don’t be surprised if you some times see Elon musk in the office talking about building ev cars and what not. Entire QA was let go during the crisis, the company does not see a value in QA, not they respect. The layoff was very well planned by group of individuals who not only let go QA but made sure their favourites were retained. If you are QA and looking for opportunities in Exotel, never even think about it in your dreams. Recommend people to dig the reviews sections deep and see the right reviews which were left by people who worked here for many years. Got the opportunity to work and learn from some good tech and non-tech people 2. A good learning curve 1. Zero work-life balance. They claim that you work only during regular working hours but you actually work beyond working hours and on holidays. 2. Below market standards pay which means you are not properly compensated for the amount of work that you put in. 3. Upper management shows favoritism all the time and this was especially seen during the Covid crisis when employees were put on sabbatical. 4. HR team is useless. They can't even explain what they have sent out in emails to employees 5. Be fair to your employees. It's very easy to lose an employee's trust. It clearly took less than 5 minutes for you to change my opinion about the company. 2. The management claims that they have attended workshops to be better managers but there is no change in their outlook. 3. If you are going to say something wrong, then at least ensure that everyone says the same thing. In this company, the CEO says something and the HR claims a completely different thing. 4.
