The worst company.. a sham
|

If there were shifts and appointments available the pay was pretty good. You work at home and you would make $8 per appointment. Problem was they werent keeping up their end of the bargain and eBay stopped giving us work. Work from home
|
They would never pay you on time. Sometimes you had shifts one week, the next week you would be making $1 an hour. No benefits. Independent Contract work so no taxes.

Awful place to work they tell you you can earn a lot but rarely happens, Change of mgmt every other month
|

Programs were good at one time then management changed. They took a great program and destroyed it in less than 3 years
|
Too many changes and you never were able to help the eBay sellers. Had to read from a script and the auditors and managers never even sold on eBay

Most unprofessional company I have ever worked for

You are working from home, in your PJ's, at times the pay is ok, have made some good friends in the workplace at this job- and if you can get hours you can work when you want.
|
There are two women running things at the top and there is no way to reach anyone over them. They mostly hire friends and family for management positions with little regard for experience or qualification. They are very closed off to new ideas and those two women at the top give all the underlings their orders. If you offer any ideas that are different from theirs you are shot down immediately and there is no one to go to. They make promises of big money and lots of hours that always fall through and over hire so there are never enough hours for the people that are there so a lot of people give up and quit. The call taking platform requires 6 different log ins and almost always something is down or is not compatible with your computer so you don't get paid.

The person in charge of everything should stop talking over everyone - maybe stop talking, period because her social skills are terrible. Some serious work on the level of professionalism is in order. Quit hiring friends and family members. It is very apparent to the rest of us that those people who see how those people work every day that they were not hired because they are good at what they do. Promote people who actually earn it instead. Stop wasting company money on things that don't bring in money. This company seems like it is in the business of losing money.

Getting any hours to work. The sales agents are grouped based on sales production stats.
There used to be 3 but recently the top group got split into two (Elite {#1} and Experts {#2} I believe) and the next group below that {#3} (not sure what they are called) and the newbies (Onboarders). Available hours (first pick) are rolled out to the #1's on Monday, #2's on Tuesday, #3's and Onboarders on Wednesday (what's left) . And I get it. If you are a top performer, than you should have access to the best times and products. And you don't want the under performers or newbies working the choice accounts. In order to come off of "Onboarding" you need hours to show your stuff. 2 weeks ago I only had the ability to get a whopping 3 hrs, and this week - 1. It would probably take me months to come off of Onboarding (I think, as management is pretty secretive as to how that works). And I'm not the only one. Hipchat message board indicated others not getting any hours. You get paid $3.50/hour seat time and 2% commission on anything you sell. That's $2 on a $100 sale. 20 cents on a $10 sale. You are going to have to put in some hours to make any dough. And you can't get any! It also seems a "Good Ol' Boys" club to me, if you know what I'm sayin'.

Work from home, therefore, no commute. Paid seat-bonus, (in case you do not receive a call) and commission of 2 percent of whatever is made on the call. There is a 24 hour schedule for most programs.
|
We lost the program that I made good money on, and now I am working programs that it seems all of the slow/broke inquisitive folk want to call on. Getting shifts can be hard, considering the needs of the client versus the how many people actually work there.

The base pay is great, no calls you still receive an hourly base rate plus commission from the sale
|
You can only work when scheduled. They have very few products. They have no clue on how to run a business their supervisors do not know any other product than the one they manage. They do not tell the truth to their Independent Contractors.
