Your shift might include present or explain a scientific topic to a small group of people or one-on-one, help adults reunite with their children if they're lost, provide directions, help the museum open/close... It's a relatively easy job so you could also relax while you work. The pay is slightly above minimum wage, you get sick hours, and you get a few percent waived when you purchase food or souvenirs on site. If you work there for a long time it could become dull because you don't have much to do, so find something to do instead. Ie: interacting with visitors. This was my first job, so I was able to quickly learn professional etiquette and punctuality. The most enjoyable part of this job was the laid-back and inclusive environment that our supervisors created.
