They really don't know how to treat people. Most of the employees are overworked and underpaid. Management makes promises regarding raises and they never follow through with it. They will tell you anything to get you off their back and get back to work. They always say the company is a family but they treat everyone like slaves. Management doesn't want to invest any time or money into any resources. There is hardly any training when someone starts. They are left to read procedure after procedure and hope they understand what needs to be done. People quit after being there just a few hours. There is a very high turnover rate at Extron and they just expect the remaining people to pick up the slack without any incentive or a thank you. The benefit packages are a complete joke. The lunchroom is absolutely disgusting, try changing the table cloths more than once every 6 months. The cleaning lady spends most of the time on the phone so she isn't actually cleaning anything. The bathrooms are always flooding. Try actually treating people with respect. Don't be complete morons when it comes to making a decision. Stop hovering and being helicopter bosses, no one likes it. Don't lie about everything, actually try to be honest when you are asked about something. Hire people that are actually capable of doing the job. Location is right off 880 and 237 giving a a strategic advantage. Starbucks coffee and good people. Some good things to learn. No performance appraisal, management always complains about losses and uses that as reason for raise. No raise unless followed up persistently and raise is in pennies. Management treats human resources as disposable entities and hence fails to retain good people. Really interesting customers dealing with new and upcoming technologies. A good place to learn complete business cycle but do not expect training. The employees have a lot of heart but most of them are there because they can't move due to one or other personal reasons. HR management is next to negligible. Don not expect any yearly appraisals or performance bonuses. Management looks at people as expendable resource so it's every person for themselves. That is the reason for high attrition rate. The people who are smart leave this place as soon as they find out that the management is incompetent. The result is that they have a very few individuals who are qualified to do their job. Extron is pioneering the concept of Last Mile Manufacturing, an advanced version of onshoring. Company is also doing some innovative things in the returns management area, which helps companies manage product servicing well past warranty expiration, and which can help companies protect the brand experience. These things have helped the company generate significant new business wins since 2014. On the Knurr product side of the business , company has a blue-chip roster of customers and numerous growth opportunities. The product line is extremely high quality and attractive to many industries. Company is extremely loyal to its employees, which is proven out by the long tenure of most of the staff. The company has absolutely no leadership, or any idea of the direction the company should be going. The result is a continuous and accumulation of diverse services on the spur of the moment, with no idea how to manage or integrate them into the company structure. Handicap stall toilet broken so the solution was to lock its door.
