Huge workload, clueless management
|
A huge workload, I have a decent and kind manager that allow me to work at my pace and make improvements, unfortunately I saw other teams suffer greatly due to poor management.
Lack of diversity, everyone at Faire think the same, and are about the same age (very young), don't bother if you are over 30.
They "forgot" to mention during the 7 interviews, onboarding process and first 4 weeks that you would require to work weekends. They forgot to mention this to EVERY team member.
Best don't complain or you would be made redundant, and redundancies would be.
I actually enjoyed my job, and I was eager to help Faire succeed, but Faire had other priorities such as make highly specialized people do basic jobs during the weekends, and get rid of anyone with responsibilities outside job. Kids are a huge problem and Faire prefers people without them.

Great pay and amazing benefits

They moved to fast for a small company and have had two big layoffs. They expected you to know everything and the training was short and stressful a lot of us didn't get the proper training. The bonuses were horrible. The people are nice and you will make friends but don't expect to stay long.

It's great but has it's drawbacks

Diversity and inclusion are great, and the benefits are amazing. The company cares about its employees.
CX doesn't have growth opportunities that last.

Great Before the massive layoffs

Had incredible benefits, high pay, unlimited PTO, remite work, literally everything you could ask for before it was mismanaged and they chose profit over people. Was part of a massive layoff that got rid of most of the talent team.
