Not a good place to start out of college. If you have no little to no experience, get ready for mundane tasks such as scanning and processing. Even if you display the capacity and eagerness to learn, you will be passed on and overlooked in a second. The point of an internship is to train an intern for the busy season not, scan and process, you can literally hire anyone else to do that. Rivalries and inappropriate jokes in the work environment led to passive aggressive behavior. As a general rule, you can make fun of yourself on your religion/culture, but, you should not make fun of someone else's religion/culture. Very uncomfortable.

Ease off the micromanaging. You need a HR department. Rethink organizational structure by putting the right people in management. Test managers for management skills. Some individuals deserve to be managers but aren't given the opportunity.

You are an amazing group of Partners. The managers are great as well but I would suggest when interview someone who has never worked at a CPA firm that you tell them exactly how long the hours are instead of just saying "we work long hours and you may be asked to stay late some day."

The staff and management/partners at FF&F are great. We have a family-like atmosphere and we all like to have fun together, both during work hours and after work. Since this is public accounting the hours are long, as at any CPA firm, but working with great colleagues make it seem less like "work." Accounting, auditing and tax work is the same wherever you work, but what makes the experience different are the people you work with and for. In my experience, FF&F has allowed me to thrive in the areas that I am most interested in and to assist in the growth of the firm.

The hours during busy season are long and Saturdays and Sundays are required close to deadlines, but this is standard for any public accounting firm.
