I miss it
|
Loved working for Fashionphile! Definitely family oriented. My supervisor and manager for customer service did their best to always make time for quick meetings to catch up on work, production, and improving. Beautiful, clean work environment.

Rare Situations
|
You deal with high class and middle class customers one day you’ll have a snotty full of their self expecting to get everything free in life cause Daddy has money the next you’ll have a humble saved up almost their whole life for a bag on the phones and emails. The management is kind and helpful but they are not on the same page, one of my biggest issues was one manger telling me to do the complete opposite thing the other manger had told me to do. In such a situation you lose either way. Follow one, get yelled at by the other. It’s a tough job sometimes due to that and the online system being constantly upgraded and changed. Lots of client complaints to handle.

Terrible
|
This is honestly one of the worst companies to work for. You see a beautiful and expensive office and expect something great but no management’s terrible and they don’t care about their employees. From Owner to GM to DM they set the example of gossipy, rude, and uncaring and obviously other managers/employees will follow that if it is shown from supposed “leaders”. Don’t work here.

Terrible do not work here
|
Owners are never around. If they are, they don’t say hello or take any initiative to greet you and ask you how you are doing, no matter how big of an asset you are to their company. “Management” is unprofessional, constantly gossiping about employee drama/issues in the lunch room. When something happens, everyone finds out rather quickly. They use “slack” to communicate within each other and that is a circus in itself, inappropriate gossipy conversations get deleted so there’s never any trace of who’s talking about what. The GM’s daughter works there (or barely works) and is responsible for 95% of the gossip and mishap in that whole place. Total immature attitude to have. The GM is extremely unprofessional and has been heard saying very unprofessional statements about clients/client’s lives/personal opinions and no one does anything about it. Owners don’t care. My manager, however was amazing and should be the GM. She is the epitome of what professionalism is. HR department lady who was very sweet to employees quit out of nowhere. That says a lot. Neiman Marcus invested in FP, yippy. That just meant thousands more items to ship out, thousands more customer service phone calls, and more spoiled clients that no one can say “no” to. No extra help was hired to tackle this issue. Customer service dept flooded with phone calls day in/out, constantly hiring wonky clueless unprofessionals. Monthly luncheons are dog doodoo, might as well bring your own lunch and skip out on those. Felt bad for the 2 girls in the front, who were always more busy than they could handle. They never let us employees who worked in the back help out anywhere else. We are slaves to the computers. Operations lady has a huge tough she-man attitude, always looks like she wants to fight someone and is always talking about someone else’s business. Constantly goes on lunch with other managers to gossip. It seems like the lunch room is the place to let it all out, even if you’re the GM. Terrible. Stay away.

Upper management needs to change.

Upper management needs to change, they have the tendency to bull those that are like them. Need to support others instead of bringing them down, also need to lead by example.

Was a good place for moms to work
|
When starting at Fashionphile most jobs were part-time. The company grew very quickly and had some growing pains as a result. This is a family owned company and owners are not always aware of what is happening within. All jobs now are full time with the exception of shipping.

Say goodbye to your soul
|
The management didn't care about you at all, you were a working mule , always looked at as a bottom feeder by management no matter how hard you tried, or what disability you had. They had no care for military or medical issues even if your doctor backed you they don't care, be weary the company was growing quickly but that didn't seem to matter that how hard we worked, we didn't matter as people at all they simply wanted results.

Busy and growing!
|
Every day is challenging and fast-paced, which leaves for never a dull moment. Fashionphile has hired people from a variety of backgrounds, so the team is very diverse and contributes in unique ways. The culture at Fashionphile is one of appreciation, for both newly onboarded employees and those who have shown dedication through the evolution of Fashionphile over the years.
Management works hard for their employees and provides feedback through twice-yearly performance reviews, and accolades and recognitions at the monthly company luncheons. As Fashionphile grows and enjoys more success, the pay has definitely become more competitive, including full benefits and a sweet 401K plan.
The combination of a relaxed So Cal company paired with the fast-paced luxury goods aspect makes the excitement tangible. I highly recommend a career with Fashionphile!

Poor management, not fair,
|
The thought of the whole company is amazing and sounds fun because you get work with fashion items. Its always the leads call. Managers are manipulative and unfair. Not a lot of room for growth. Favoritism plays a big role. No structure and very unorganized. Management is very gossipy. Leads are very rude. Company needs a lot of improvement.
