The St Louis Fed is a great place to work. A lot of the senior leadership is retiring in 2020 and it is paving the way for innovation and change. New ideas are being heard and the new leadership team really cares about the employees.

There was always a Fed way and it you didnt get on board with it, you would hit a wall. That's no longer the case now. No cons. You won't find a better place to work. Pays well and the benefits are second to none.

In my role I worked with quite a few development teams. The Fed employs quality people and have great benefits and people are pretty upbeat and happy in general to be working there. Sort of a collegial atmosphere.

The pay is not great, the raises are small and bonuses are not what you get at a private company.
