Fetch is the best company I have ever worked for! They care about their employees - unlimited PTO (within reason), many advancement opportunities, quick promotions, great pay, supportive leadership, they value employees' opinions and ideas, the remote culture is fantastic., and top-level executives/management are transparent, and fun incentives! My only complaint is that the company could use a better vetting process and disciplinary actions for lazy and incompetent workers. Some employees take advantage of the laid-back and autonomous atmosphere and go without punishment as they continue to do a poor job and remain employed. The majority of employees are good workers. There are definitely processes that need to be worked out, but I like that I actually have a hand in building them. There's no "stay in your lane" or "Hey that didn't work, why did you try that?". If you like to be given a list telling you what to do, that's fine, but you probably wouldn't like it here. If you enjoy learning new skills, taking on new projects, and taking part in the building of a startup, then Fetch Rewards will be an absolute playground for you. Interview process was great. Everyone I spoke to was nice, no one spoke down to me or asked trick questions, which felt like all of my interviews in 2020 to be honest. I told them what I wanted for salary, and the market data showing why I was looking for that, and they just said, "that's fair. We want you. We're happy to offer you that". When you sign your offer, they say, "Pick a laptop, pick a desk, pick a chair". You go through Fetch University so it's easy to understand how to explain the app and do your job. You can actually take time off. I've had to go to the doctor a few times, and I simply update my Slack to "Away" and it's understood that I am away. I get my work done and I've always been a bit of an overachiever, so if anything, they have to tell me to take the time sometimes haha The company recently got funding, so 2022 will bring a lot of improvements across the board, and what's great is they are building things off of confidential surveys regularly sent to employees. I'm not going to say every day is perfect. I think anyone who claims that about anything is a red flag. That said, pros vs. cons, there are infinitely more pros, and the cons are far better than cons of past companies I've worked for. I've also already discussed 2 possible career tracks with my manager, and it hasn't even been a full year. He brought this up, I didn't have to. If you are considering working here, I would make sure you vibe with your Manager, and you like the idea of working autonomously and not knowing exactly what each day will bring. If you think the answer is yes to both, I honestly think you'll be very happy here. Unlimited PTO, free laptop, WFH equipment, stock options, medical/dental/vision, pet insurance, wellness program, remote happy hours/team activities, weekly meetings with Founder Wes, room for growth. If you have questions regarding a policy or need assistance there is isn't someone you can rely on. Most of their employees are assigned work above their pay grade. Leads are great but are overworked and not paid enough. Cares about numbers versus the quality that the agent gives to the client. Most people are easy to work with and are valuable teammates. The most unpleasant part of working there is office politics. I liked the vision of the 26 yr old CEO and where he wants to take the company. Had to learn that computer all over again. Was told they do not look at numbers, but then they had complained about numbers and got mad at me because my numbers were not high enough... not taking in consideration I never a computer that was working. Then proceeded to say ask away Owen it comes to questions and not knowing, But got upset when questions asks.
