Paid time off for holidays. I worked at Freedom for 5+ yrs. before experiencing 1st hand how little concern they have for their employee's safety. This past year I had to work w/an angry employee who repeatedly expressed their desire to bring a gun to work & shoot other employees. My boss was aware of it & chose to turn a blind eye to it so I went to the CFO & HR Dept. instead. The employee was talked to & the violent behavior ceased for a few months but then started up again which prompted my decision to quit. Management knew it was happening again & did nothing about it. As far as I know, the employee still works there & is a ticking time bomb. No one is safe. Everyone is very nice and welcoming and for such a large company, with 3 locations, it has sort of a small business feel, where they treat everyone as if they're part of the family. When they're are busy they offer plenty overtime for hourly employees. After you get settled in at Freedom, you may start to see the politics that didn't seem to exist at first glance. Many employees hold the position they do because of this, not because of their performance. If and when you notice this it will become very obvious because it's not just higher up positions, but it works its way all the way down the line. I am not a disgruntled employee by any means and would highly recommend working for Freedom. The only reason I pointed this out is because some people would prefer to steer clear of the politics. 3.0 4.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 0.0 40440 Open Be consistent, and by this I mean if you're going to implement policies/standards make sure it's consistent.
