Excellent place to work

I worked at Fidelus for a little over 2.5 years. These were my observations:
- Employees are friendly, approachable, and easy to communicate with. People are respectful of each other.
- Employee's feedback and ideas are welcomed by management.
- Management is easily accessible.
- Management always looks for ways to improve employees environment and company's performance.
- Management philosophy is not to engage in the blaming game but rather foster to acknowledge issue, learn from it, and move on.
- Management lets employees try yourself in different business units.
- Company provides reasonable accommodations to support employees work & life balance as long as you have control over the tasks you are responsible for.
- As an overall the company's culture is very healthy.

Biggest Waste of My Time

Bagel Monday’s, lunch Friday’s, many company outings

Zero direction. Many jobs that have no direction or leadership. I was hired and was never on-boarded. All of a sudden the CEO (that I reported to) stopped even keeping in contact with me. My job’s essentials changed daily and I was not in the role I was interviewed or hired for. Was told that I was going to be brought on meetings with Account Managers. Went to three after starting in Nov and then nothing after that. New regime comes in and gives no direction at all. When instructed what I was supposed to do daily I did so yet it mattered not. Tons of time wasting meetings and events that drive zero business.

Figure it out already on what you’re doing with new hires. On board them, give them a 30, 60, 90 day plan and give them direction on what expectations are and what success looks like. Stop wasting the time of your company and its people.

I've been with Fidelus 7+ years and the only company that has had a comparable culture that I have worked for is Cisco themselves. The focus on employee improvement and career path that the company gives their employees is that of a significantly larger company. Get your foot in the door and the opportunities are yours to explore. Hard work and grit are rewarded consistently.

I'd have to say the success of the company makes for plenty of work. There's always a challenge of keeping up with the demand.

T his is a small technology company with great work atmosphere. Those who didn't like it and left because they didn't fit in or had performance related issues. The company offers very generous benefits package which cannot be found in any place else these days.

CEO deceitful, ingenuine and a poor leader. Micro manages small projects, while paying no attention to larger goals or issues. Runs the business like a fraternity, purchases customers instead of proving value of their services.
First tech company I've worked for who sells technology but has a grade school tech stack of tools. Like Fisher Price level.
Company openly preaches communication which is exercised, however it's a huge masquerade of hopes and dreams that are just a massive waste of time

CEO needs to stop loving the sound of his own voice so much and let his execs handle and truly collaborate on projects within their teams.
Treat everyone fairly instead of the favoritism game, it sets a poor example from a culture perspective and alienates your teams.
Get rid of the personality tests, they have zero value in productivity.
Sells your tools and stop spending thousands upon thousands of dollars buying clients. There is a reason why you excel in a single vertical.
Get an actual employee familiar with human resources
