Disconnect between managements words and actions

1. huge disconnect between what management says versus what they do
2. very little support for professional development
3. don't genuinely care about people or leadership, just want results
4. core values are forced down your throat, but management fails to live them
5. a lot of turnover in key roles, don't support team members that don't have a manager
6. management is closed-minded and will not accept ideas from others

Stop letting people who don’t have an education run your company to management clean up top to bottom or you’ll will have a lawsuit I was forced to come in on my day off or I would get fired I told management and they said maybe I herd her wrong Now it has turned personal I was harassed out of my job and lied on by management ...how can an employee defend his self against a manager that lies check your management and I’m sure their needs to be some kind of training for management these women can’t even manage their own house hold but management of a million dollar company after I told she threatened my job she should have not been able harass me the way

FilterEasy is a very successful company that is a leader in its market segment. The environment here is dynamic and fast-paced, and any employee can make a major difference. There is plenty of opportunity for advancement, and the company is largely devoid of the sort of politics that plague larger companies.

Startup environment with no real dress code, very little red tape and politics. Change happens quickly and one person can make a big impact. Family/team culture makes work fun. There is huge room for growth, both individually and for the company. Every day is a new adventure.
|
Lack of a formal HR department makes hiring and some other situations difficult, but this is anticipated to change soon. Benefits are ever increasing, in 2017 health insurance is now available.

Flexible work environment: We aren't chained to our desks. If we want a change of scenery for a day or just a few hours, we can travel between the 2 floors FilterEasy is on, and work outside in the warmer weather.
Coworkers and management listen. Ideas don't get brushed under the rug just because it wasn't management's idea.
Flexible breaks. People are free to wander downtown for a place to eat, go to the gym, or whatever else they please, on their schedule. Lots of events take place right outside our office and we are known to enjoy those during the work day too!
Ability to make your job what you want and learn. Conferences and learning opportunities are offered to us, and are encouraged for professional growth.

Small companies mean a little less ladder-climbing. Right now the positions we have are what we have. If there are opportunities to grow, its within your own role or when they open up new positions as we are growing (so on the flip side - kind of a positive)
