was a ok place to work at first. then new system was put in place which lead to mandatory overtime every week so you went from 40 hours a week to 50+ hours every six days. then new shifts were added to try to ease the burden on people and the primary shifts slacked off. management turnover and employee turnover was high and from what i had heard was high at times prior to my arrival. people will backstab others to get ahead or to just get rid of people they do not like.

Great while you're looking for something else

This company is great about sick days and you can have unlimited, nonpaid time off with enough notice. However, the management micro manages everything, makes promises he doesn't intend to keep, is a cheapskate, purposely under-staffs, forces you to work mandatory overtime with little notice, and publicly berates employees on the work floor. Unless you are male, you will NOT advance in this company and you are expected to do twice the work load of the male employees. If you don't or complain, you are reprimanded. An employee had to bring their child to work on a mandatory Saturday because they couldn't find child care and was only given a couple days notice! You can't afford the offered "benefits" (ex. the health insurance costs about $300 a month for one person), and about half the listed "benefits" are only applicable for the HQ employees in North Carolina.
Lastly, the warehouse is NOT air conditioned, so summer is horrible! And even though you sometimes MUST work 60 hours a week, your paychecks don't really reflect it.

Filter easy started off being a great place to work until longer down the road learned that they care very little about their employees...All their concerns was getting their filters shipped out..The supervisor smoked pot on every break and was always high...never focused
|

The team was a very good fit for me. I learned a lot working here. This was my first jobs where I was able to talk to management and actually have them take my advice. I worked in many jobs they had to offer and learned how to do each one of them well.

Im not really one to run a name down but based on my vast experience there are much bettter ways to handle things in that warehouse then what was taking place. College friends started the company together and on several occasions those relationships took a higher priority then the employee concerns or operations.

FilterEasy doesn't pretend to be something that it's not. Together we shares ideas, listen to one another, collaborate, and work together for a goal, and amidst the work, we have fun! We have team bonding events outside of work, as well as celebrations for accomplished goals and holidays. Great culture where you do what it expected of you, and no one gets on your case. Limited internal politics, etc. Really, its what you put into it that you get back. Treat people with respect, and you are respected in return. Located in the middle of downtown Raleigh is an amazing plus to a great company that continues to grow, and I would highly recommend.
