Amazing support from customer services and direct management, everyone worked well as a team and the Firebrand model and thirst for a high quality delivery shone through. Good work life balance and you were always well looked after. One of the best training companies to work for.

Hard to find a balance within the schedule it could be back to back or larger gaps. However, this is what you sign up for and the real enjoyment is the delivery and the students.

It's the best company i've ever worked for...

As I write this, i'm approaching seven years of service with Firebrand. It is without a shadow of a doubt the best company I have ever worked for. I spend my Sunday nights looking forward to work, not dreading it like some people I know.
In my time with the company, i've progressed through a number of engaging and exciting roles within the marketing team. I work with an incredible team of talented professionals who share the same goals and company vision...we care about what we do and spend every day working to deliver the best accelerated training experience for our customers across the world, so that they may achieve their business and personal goals.
I work in an amazing office, overlooking Oxford Circus. The working environment is energetic and my colleagues aren't colleagues, they're friends. I can't stress enough how important that is and how much fun that makes it working at Firebrand.
The company continues to invest in my career and skills development. I have a manager who trusts me to do my job and is a true mentor. His actions and attitude to work inspire me to be better at what I do every single day. He also encourages me to have a proper work life balance and puruse my passions outside of work (he leaves at 5:30pm and expects me to do the same - it's great). I get honest, constructive feedback and I know I can tell him what's on my mind without being worried - even if that's I don't want to do this job anymore. I know that for a fact, because I did it.
Once upon a time (in my first year), I actually decided the role I was working in wasn't right for me. Instead of ushering me out the door with a wave goodbye, my manager listened to my needs and found me a new role within the business. He then provided the platform and support I needed to learn the new skills to be successful within that position. Since then i've never looked back...I can't see myself working anywhere else.
The culture here is incredible. We have fun and we work hard. Everyone is so friendly and the senior team care about the staff. We have all the perks you'd hope for - private health and dental care, pension scheme, extra holiday days, on-going training, profit share, incredible company events and a one month paid sabattical after 7 years of service and again every 5 years after. Then there is Quota Club, where high flying sales staff and achievers of employee/s of the quarter get an all expenses holiday. I got to go in Feb 2017 and it was the trip of a lifetime - 4 days extra holiday, 5 star hotel, sun, sea and the most amazing activities across scuba diving, bungee jumping, quad biking, boat days and so much more. It's a fantastic opportunity to build a stronger team. Have some fun. Learn lots and lots along the way, about each other and our business.
The company is incredibly open, with quarterly reports on the progress of the business. Staff really know what's happening. With a chance to understand the wider business. We continue to grow at an incredible rate...the companies revenue has more than doubled since I joined, the regions we work in ever expanding and the team I work in has tripled in size (4 > 13).

Not really a con, but something to be aware of, there is always too much to do. The company is expanding at a rapid rate, so you need to be able to priortise, manage your time well and be able to cope with the prospect of there always being one more thing you could be doing.
If you don't grasp this concept, you'll struggle.

Everyone is really welcoming, it's a really supportive environment. Able to learn a huge amount from everyone around you.
|
Working on Regent Street can be really busy, but all the restaurants and shops close by make it worth it.

Mid level management and company culture has taken a dive, however the relaxed atmosphere and the people including both directors make up for this.
