Was fired because of absence due to pregnancy emergency!
|
I was nothing but an exceptional employee, even my team lead raved about me during my review. I became pregnant and first off was told I wouldn't be eligible for short term disability because my pregnancy was considered "a pre-existing condition". I was really sick and took an unpaid leave of absence because I had no choice during my first trimester. I finally got over the worst part and was cleared to return to work but advised them by my doctor that I was was still experiencing severe morning sickness. Management said they cared but they didn't. I followed procedure and let them know when I was sick but all other days I still gave my all even when it was overwhelming. Then I end up in the ER due to something else with my pregnancy and was told I have to rest for a couple of days but then can return to work as long as I try to relax, don't stress and don't do anything too strenuous. So I let management know and my lead as per procedure. My team lead was super understanding and told me to not stress about them, to just focus on taking care of my baby. Management on the other hand decided to terminate my employment. I am just very disappointed in this company.
They have been voted one of the best workplaces of Colorado Springs but honestly they have a huge turn-over and I am positive it's because they truly don't care about their employees. This last straw of them firing me when it was a medical emergency was just one more example of the true type of company this place is. I would not waste my time working for such a horrible company. The staff is nice and just trying to make it through their duties, but upper management are the ones that just don't care about their lower employees only themselves.

A360 inc, Firm Solutions also known as LOGS Group. The management and leadership group made sure that it's employees were taken care of in the aspect of keeping the workplace fun. But as far as pay, I believe that the bookkeepers, collections, accounts payable and receivable team deserved better pay. Overall, I believe everyone was a bit underpaid for the size of the company and the hard work and dedication that most put into this company. Overall it was a "fun" place to work, but expected much more in the end.
