Trying to save money by staying understaffed.
Too much unnecessary busy work, especially when a full staff is denied (only after accepting the position). 12-17 hour days without a break the norm (and on smaller properties)
Took away the deciding factor for employment retention: company paid insurance premiums
Discounts for onsite living based on regional 's attitude. You could pay more for a one bedroom than another employee pays for a three.
Vendors almost NEVER receive timely payment
So much emphasis on "training compliance" (though some is necessary), actual duties are not given attention the require and many supervisors rule with fear and unprofessional attitudes (putting that gently)
Large amounts of theft unpunished but all whistleblowers are punished severely even with facts
No communication to property about anything. You may stay because you love your boss and then the following day everyone is in different places.

Training is certainly important, but some parts are not relevant to role. Not allowing training to commence until beginning the position while threatening new hires with "non-compliance" is not a good way to up retention.
Onsite Managers need support at least enough that is required/allowed for property size. One person running anything over 100 units alone needs support and not threats.
Get rid of uniforms for the office; appearances to be tidy and professional are fine especially with given examples. Do not force employees to purchase item from single (expensive) stores, especially as tailoring is almost always required. If you get complaints about a specific employee, take it seriously. Especially if there are multiple complaints. This destroys retention for both employees and residents.

The downside was the community managers who took advantage of their employees, Most of the time Leasing and assistants did their job with little to no recognition, The Previous CM was more worried about smoke breaks and personal life than getting the job done.

Regional and upper management need to do better at seeing who actually is there to work and learn and move up.
It's disappointing that You'll get let go because of a Manager who simply didn't like you while you did their work without any pay increase or review. I hope your new management ASSET Living doesn't treat their employees this way.
