Simple workplace, not much room for growth, slow paced
|
A slow paced work environment where nobody is in a rush to get work done including management. Because they are a non profit the regular business strategies dont apply. Not much room for learning nor growth but a great place to work 9-5 with no afterhours committments. Strongly recommended for people who live closeby especially if they have young children. More time spent on nonproductive meetings and staff events than striving for growth. If you want a easy place with no challenges and a paycheck this is the place for you.

Benefits is really good, I like that they match your RRSP contribution right away.
I don’t like some unkind co workers.

Manager of the contact center was more interested in numbers than the employees. Teams were generally not happy and always scared of losing their jobs which was stressful. Not enough training to be taking care of members funds.
