private:fiterazzimagazine 3806541 May 24th, 2019 12:00AM Fiterazzi Magazine 28 1.00 Open Health, Wellness and Fitness May 24th, 2019 07:30PM May 24th, 2019 07:30PM An online health and fitness magazine focused on positive body image. This is the vision... I can’t remember the last time I picked up a fitness magazine and read a headline that didn’t make me feel horrible about myself. Drop 10 in 10 days? Bye bye thunder thighs? I thought I was supposed to shake the world with my presence every time I walked into a room. Where were those articles that talked about the truth? ...The ones that presented real facts and let me figure out how I could apply it to my own life? ...Or the ones that were stemmed from brutal honesty, but that I could totally relate to? ...Or most importantly, the ones that finally shared the truth about physical fitness – that it all starts in the mind? I think it’s about time that we step away from these social pressures to look or be a certain way. It’s all about collaborative efforts. It’s about sharing what works for us and encouraging others to do the same. It’s about emphasizing the reality that true fitness isn’t about how many burpees or pull ups you can bust out, it’s about creating balance and happiness between all parts of your life. It’s an ever-changing balance and that’s why we are here to keep rooting you on. The dictionary definition of fitness is, “The condition of being physically fit and healthy.” Well, we’re about to change that a tad bit. How about, “The condition of being physically, emotionally, mentally and socially conscious about achieving balance and self satisfaction.” In plain English: fitness goes beyond physical appearances and looks. It starts from within. That’s why here at Fiterazzi, we think it’s not about weight or size. We think it’s all about doing things you love and enjoy - then the rest will follow.
