The people I worked with at Flashstarts believed that we were most productive when we had a choice in what kind of project we wanted to take on, what kind of skill we wanted to learn. It was an open, flexible workplace, with a lot of fun but ambitious people. My only realm qualms would be with some of the startups in the accelerators, who initially struggled to manage their interns. Overall, though, it was still a great experience, and my minor gripe didn't have anything to do with Flashstarts itself. Flashstarts is a wonderful place to work! As an intern, I was able to speak to higher ups, learn anything I was interested in, and work with entrepreneurs face to face. They were incredibly flexible with my school schedule and made for a great place to be. Hit the ground running, friendly atmosphere, learn a lot! From the time you walk threw the door in the morning you start working, and working hard. But, because of the high energy, positive environment FlashStarts emanates, by the end of the work day, you don't want to leave. You work very closely with the CEO, Managing Partner, and startup companies working in house. The hardest part of the job would be prioritizing work when working on multiple teams that need their deadlines met.
