Toxic work Environment

|
-Nothing, stay away from this place. The positive reviews are lying.
|
-Poor leadership in all areas, CEO is one of the fakest people I've ever seen. She'll put on a "face" but in reality this is the most toxic company I've ever worked for.
-Company encourages you to divulge personal issues when in fact, this is VERY unprofessional and not anyone's business. They'll use your personal issues against you so don't fall for this nonsense.
-Long hours, often 80 hours a week
-Extremely disorganized
-Constant restructuring and reorganization. I saw my team change leadership roles several times in a very short amount of time. None of these changes actually made anything better either and just kept feeling like we were trying to give things a "kick" but in reality it made everything worse as it made processes slower and more confusing. Often times new "leaders" didn't know how to give direction and were not fit for their roles.
-"Feedback culture" really just means getting talked to like a child and getting reprimanded and gaslighted for revisions on work when your boss gives you notes.
-Management tries to "force relationships" onto you when it just feels disingenuous. I was literally told I need to "be friends" with my coworkers when I had just met them, of whom weren't very nice or inviting to me in the first place.
-Terrible, inexperienced, and dishonest management
-My boss encouraged drug use and one of my coworkers was a drug addict. Take from that what you will.
-Very "cult like" environment. It's clear if you're in with the "in crowd" your job is safe. I've seen people who really didn't have major contributions or productivity stay at the company when others who worked extremely hard get let go.

- CEO is inspiring, down to earth, trusting, empowering, empathetic, smart.
- Team prioritizes flexibility, family, health/wellbeing... ie unlimited PTO, great benefits, remote options.
- Lots of the team has been there a loooong time, which means they're happy and growing
- Team is smart, agile, quick, hard working and on the ball
- Mission is inspiring and everyone gets behind it
- Business model is omni-channel which gives employees a chance to learn about business.

Terrible/Murkiest organization, unethical/toxic culture & practices, organization is xenophobic towards blacks or Asian or any other race except whites and Mexicans avoid this organization at all costs or else get ready to face professional bullying, uncultured/unorganized hostile management, improper usage of resources, inexperienced staff, "segregation to your kind" You will only get for promotions or get hired full time if you fall in above racial scale mentioned . HR is complete joke You will be asked not to clock over times by false promises Modern slavery. Overall a Glorified sweat shop. All 5 stars are given my higher management for employee retention manipulation as people leaving seeing their worst organizational culture , murkiest management style, NO INTEGRITY . Soon organizations like this will be case study for failing corporations

The people overall! I loved the team that I was in. We were generally encouraged to wear many hats, which honed my skills. If we felt overwhelmed, communication was generally also encouraged. One of the values is practicing a growth mindset and I appreciated that with the learning stipend.. Remote but option to come to the office was much appreciated. What you put in for work is usually also rewarded. Off site was also very fun.
