Great team and my work is appreciated, which is appreciated. Miss the culture and the lunches, sometimes I do wish to hear from my manager more often. Payroll is twice a month, never missed, but love to see it weekly! High salary, and a standing desk, along with snacks provided by the company. Constant micromanagement, to the point that the CEO installs cameras in office spaces so he can watch people working. The level of paranoia at the top is astounding. There is no trust in employees. Management does not communicate honestly with lower-level employees. Constant infighting, power plays, and other inappropriate behavior from higher-level employees. Additionally, when the pandemic hit, the company did not approach things in an appropriate manner. Leading up to the first stay-at-home orders, we were told we had to report to the office despite an unknown risk of infection; requests to work from home were not granted because company culture does not permit lower-level employees to have laptops (this ties into the ability to watch and track movement of employees in the offices). Multiple people lost their jobs (and their health insurance) within the first week. I personally like that I could work at homes at times, but I know that was only available until I finished a project. I know they had a policy that allowed me to come in a little later, which was cool as I could avoid some commute traffic which was a bummer. Sometimes the office had a bit of noise, but I used my headphones and all was ok.
