Work-life balance
Work-life balance at FlexShopper is excellent. 40 hour week. Hours avail are Mon-Friday 8am-10pm and Saturdays 8am to 7pm. Set schedule. Overtime available and NOT MANDATORY with no repercussions for turning down OT. Flex time available for drs appointments etc so you don't have to use your vacation time to see a doctor.
Pay & benefits
My pay and benefits at FlexShopper are less than what was promised: hourly plus quota bonus and they continously raise the bonus bar to keep you around $27,000. Spiffs for good reviews on several sites and occasionally throughout the month for "first one or two to get..." (incoming calls, delinquent money or overall dollar amounts collected usually)
Job security and advancement
In terms of job security at FlexShopper, I think if you don't think-just process and keep your intellect under a basket, you can enjoy a long time here.
Management
In general, managers at FlexShopper will almost always be there to help with a trouble call and offer solutions for certain scenarios and coach you for the next time the issue arises.
Culture
Collaboration with my colleagues at FlexShopper is phenomenal. Almost everyone gets along with everybody and willing to assist with everyone. Newcomers are welcomed in as new family members. The initial training is like a fire house; so much is covered in a short time. All veteran reps (even those there just 3 months) are willing and able to answer questions and show you shortcuts.
Overall
Keep your head down and do what they ask. They are not looking for thinkers and will get upset if you do not accept "that's just the way we do it."
Very easy work and you should always be busy; if people aren't calling in, the system will call out. It makes the time fly.

|
Poor management. You will get fired eventually. The managers show favoritism. Very stressful. Managers a extremely rude. Will talk about you and smile in your face. Would not recommend working here. No job security. They slap pizza parties on top of bad management.

FlexShopper is a lease to own company and essentially a payment method for customers don’t have the money up front to cover the entire cost of the item(s). I was hired as a customer service representative. Even though being a customer service representative in a call center isn’t “my cup of tea,” or passion, I am sad to be leaving because of the people I worked with. I’m only leaving because I got a better job offer with a something that has more room for growth. Working at FlexShopper, I’ve honestly never felt more support and/or appreciation from management in a job before. The supervisors always go out of their way to show their employees that they’re supported and appreciated. If you don’t understand something, or need assistance with a customer, they’re there to help and assist you. They provide both bagels and donuts on a weekly basis. They also randomly provide lunch. They give raffle tickets to win prizes (like a smart TV) just for doing our job and doing it well. They make it a fun work environment by having contests (Halloween costume contests, headset decorating contest, etc.) and having “FlexShopper Fridays” where you dress up in that weeks theme (pajamas, beach wear, ugly Christmas sweater, etc.). They even give a raffle ticket just for participating in the different dress up days/events. The supervisors also go out of their way to let you know you’re doing a great job and thank you for doing your job well. That, I honestly appreciate more than anything, as even getting a simple “thank you” from most jobs/bosses these days seems hard to come by. You do have the ability to earn bonuses also. For every review you get from a customer they provide you with $10 per review. They also offer overtime hours during the holiday season which is helpful to earn extra money.
The job itself is not hard either, as long as you pay attention in training, use the tools they provide you, and ask for assistance when needed. You’d be answering phones, chats, and/or emails and speaking with customers about their accounts and orders they have placed through FlexShopper. There are several teams/departments within FlexShopper, so once you’re assigned to one, you’d also have additional tasks assigned to you based on that specific team/department you’re assigned to. I personally view FlexShopper as a good “in between job,” while you’re figuring out your passion, or what you want to do career-wise long term. There does seem to be a high turnover rate for employees, where they’re frequently getting new hires because previous employees leave after a few months, but there are quite a few employees who have been there for 1+ years. The pay is higher than minimum wage, and is pretty decent, especially for those with not much education and/or work experience; however, I personally don’t think it’s a livable wage for someone wanting an actual long-term career (especially if you’re a college graduate and have previous work experience). Overall, the people you’d be working with are great. It seems to be your typical customer service/call center job, so as long as you’d like to do that for work, it’s honestly a great place to work.

I've been in the sales field for over 20+ YEARS. They have 22-24 year olds running sales floors like they know what they are doing. They fired me along with 2 other white people after having a meeting and kept every other person.

Not a bad place to work

My position was different from the others so I basically kept to myself. Too much gossip and drama throughout the other areas of the call center. Free bagels on Fridays were the highlight of the week.
