Additionally, Flipcause has a truly diverse staff which is a rarity in the software space. Very few. The executives are kind, thoughtful, and practice what they preach. It is not rare to have 30 minute sporadic conversations with the CEO about whatever you were talking about at lunch. As a member of a small team, I will leave the job specifics out, but I am very pleased with what an easy onboarding this has been and the ramp up was painless. Some highlights: - Work for a socially conscious company but with the pay of a tech company. - Great manager and encouraging environment - Free lunch and unlimited Lacroix (not a deal breaker if it wasn't here, but always helpful) - Diverse and inclusive environment - Dog-friendly - Flexible work environment - The office space is freezing! Super friendly and supportive team, work that really makes a positive impact in the world, strong vision with great follow through, diverse employees, great benefits, and beautiful office in central location. This is definitely a self starter environment where you have to be willing to ask for what you need and learn quickly. Coming directly from a contract at Google, I was ready to get back into a smaller company that's making all of the right moves toward becoming larger. I wanted to feel like I was making an impact and I'm definitely feeling useful and valued here. The reality of life is you are going to spend too much time at the office. Working at Flipcause makes me ok with that reality. The people here are bright and friendly. It's almost a family environment. The work is challenging, but enjoyable. The leadership team is always willing to help. I can see myself working here for a long time and growing my career. High expectations in a relaxed and comfortable environment. No micromanagement or ego trips. Open environment to share new ideas and opinions. A genuinely diverse environment. Feels like a real work family. Founder maintains close 1:1 connection with staff and is always open to feedback. Heavy female presence on product side. Real sense of connection to the nonprofit world. Braveheart like speeches from leadership when its time to conquer the world! Perk central with catered lunches, brunches, commuter programs, dogs at work, open attendance policy, 3 year anniversary getaway paid for you and partner. Strong comp and benefit packages with frequent raises, bonuses, 401K with matching and great medical/dental. Not really a con, but this is a self-starters paradise where everyone is willing to help but if you need hand holding on the regular this isn't the environment for you. Period. I love the fact that everyone moves and works together in a symbiotic, and open way. The benefits and "perks" are great. I especially love catered lunches, team outings, and team nights.
