Lots of work to do - too much for small teams to handle. They nickel and dime every single transaction and recycle everything - spend some more money and the business will actually grow. Low pay, long hours.

I would say the pros about about Zipline would be the the folks that work outside of the US specifically in Africa. These teammates bring a sense of honesty & humility to the work that is being done, I personally stayed at the company for this reason. Zipline defiantly has a way to hit the heartstrings for global change in regards to healthcare in remote areas of the world but falls short as a structured startup in the silicon valley.

1. Small circle of elites. If your'er not in, watch what you say & think. (no one is safe)
2. No HR department. People team? Teammates from abroad working in the US with (B-1) Huge red-flag as a company. Lets not mentioned the multiple teammates that abandoned ship after arriving in the US. Yikes!!!
3. Be prepared to go against your moral compass. ( we're changing the world, look the other way)
4. Greenwash bandwagon.
3. High recruitment from big ex-executives from Apple/Tesla/etc
4. Safe work environment? Be prepared to look the other way. There have been multiple incidents where teammates where injured (interns) & assigned task at HQ that did not follow OSHA regulations. Tagged per the city of San Mateo for battery testing onsite.
5. Off-site testing. Multiple incidents at flight test facility where drones almost collided with small aircraft.
6. HQ is not structured for adequate use. Not enough restroom facilities to support entire org. Rodent infestation. Multiple post on slack about mice defecting in working areas & snacks bars.
7. Parking
8. Lunch - vegan options get cross contaminated.

Stop the gaslighting & commit to the mission & the agreements you made you to your stakeholders. You started from a humble/scrappy beginning. Don't lose your core fundamentals, be honest about your mistakes with the team & don't sugarcoat the truth. Yes, its a startup & there are growing pains but don't hide the truth from the very smart people you hired.
