Work - I worked for a big consulting firm prior ForensisGroup. It was a good experience but my role limited me to one function. In a smaller company like ForensisGroup, you tend to be pulled in different directions based on the needs of the company. I cited this as a pro because I love learning; being involved in different functions allows me to see the bigger picture and develop valuable skills that align with my personal development needs. Work is based on trust with an expectation of hitting your targets or goals, no one is micromanaging you. People & Culture - ForensisGroup is a 25+ year old company. I’ve seen the work dynamics shift from a very traditional style to more of a startup. It’s a very collaborative work environment now; employees from different departments go out of their way to help each other out. We have TED talk lunches, trainings, company events, and celebrations. Everyone is respectful, pleasant and fun to work with. Benefits & Rewards - ForensisGroup offers 401k match, health, dental and life insurance, parking, leaves and holidays. We have a tiered monthly incentive program to make sure outstanding performance does not go unnoticed. If you go out of your way to help other members/teams, there is a high possibility you will be rewarded. Work - I feel that the organization is quite reactive to internal and external factors. I do know Management is putting their focus on improvement projects to get the company to a proactive state Structure - ForensisGroup is a small company so it doesn’t have a well-defined structure like a big corporation would have. You have to be resourceful and figure things out or ask. Space - The office is small and ForensisGroup is continuously growing. It would be nice to have more space for private meetings, recreation, and other office activities. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 5.0 412954 Open -Focus on improving processes, people, and technology -Keep hiring happy and driven people -Invest in building the right culture 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 2.0 Feb 14th, 2021 03:17AM Feb 14th, 2021 03:17AM Forensis Group Inc Industrials Support Services

private:forensisgroupinc https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=412954 Jun 17th, 2019 12:00AM Open Open ForensisGroup United States USA Satisfying work, growth opportunities, great company culture, wonderful team A legal services business with a lot of opportunity to gain breadth of experience. A collaborative team of kind smart people that care for the work and care for each other. Good communication between management and team especially during recent reorg with retirement of upper management. CEO makes herself readily accessible to team with an open door policy not often seen in companies. Company offers a robust benefits package with numerous paid holidays and competitive PTO policy. Company offers personal development and career development opportunities to both management and team alike. Office is located right off of a train stop in a nicely maintained professional building near amenities of South Lake Ave. Company regularly sponsors lunch, breakfast is provided on Fridays and noteworthy events, both professional and personal are celebrated. If you’re looking to to work alongside a team of extraordinary people in a purpose-drive career, ForensisGroup is that place. No real cons other than the team is growing and we're running out of office space. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 5.0 412954 Open Keep up the good work. private:forensisgroupinc https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=412954 Jun 7th, 2019 12:00AM Open Open ForensisGroup Administrative Assistant Pasadena, CA Good starter job, but not a place to stay for the long haul. You will gain much experience, and it's a pretty casual place to work depending on what department you are in, some are less demanding than others. Free food is given, and you'll be able to work without micromanaging (but that might not be true anymore since the head of Recruitment and the VP have left). While the company attitude isn't the best, the employees really band together to help each other and motivate each other. The company works despite upper management. Doesn't promote from within, and if they do it's lateral movement with little to no pay bump. CEO isn't in touch with her employees, and decided to ignore her mission statement to focus only on "big-ticket" cases, rather than actually choosing cases where FG would make a real difference to people (i.e. deciding to stop taking certain medical malpractice cases as they don't net the company much money, even though those cases built our integrity and made attorneys want to choose us since we weren't typical hired guns). There are numerous meetings that resolve nothing, yet are mandatory and cause the entire place to shut down for hours; some meetings are forced TEDtalks that have little to do with either employee morale or actual work issues. The Client Services department is overworked constantly with pay that isn't commensurate to their abilities. Case Management is also overworked and paid little, but they also are the scapegoat of the office when anything goes slightly wrong. Recruitment is also blamed for Sales not being able to close deals, even though it's rarely their fault and due to Sales promising what cannot be delivered. CEO also hired young family: one that was ill-prepared to fill in HR's shoes, and one that was incapable of meeting any deadline to roll out new software for us (and yet wasn't reprimanded by management in any way). -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL -1.0 DISAPPROVE 7.0 3.0 2.0 1.0 1.0 3.0 1.0 412954 Open Listen to your employees and let them work, rather than making them sit in dead-end meetings. Bring back the monetary and case transparency the old VP gave to us, and choose more cases that actually match your mission statement; what is happening right now is hypocrisy at it's finest, and it's insulting to your work force. If you're going to hire family that is laughably incapable at their jobs, make sure that their six figure salaries (to start) don't become public knowledge; he makes more than your most senior Client Services Rep. When hiring new employees, please make sure that they are actually qualified, and those terrible personality tests don't mean anything if HR can't actually read them or tell how easily someone can lie on them. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 4.0 Feb 14th, 2021 03:17AM Feb 14th, 2021 03:17AM Forensis Group Inc Industrials Support Services
private:forensisgroupinc https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=412954 Feb 22nd, 2019 12:00AM Open Open ForensisGroup Associate United States USA Small family business, don't expect a career Most co-workers are courteous and professional. There are occasional free lunches, about 1-2 per month, but usually pizza. You might work with great people and experts depending on your role in the company. It's a decent place to get work experience and move on. They treat employees like cogs in a machine and micro-management is a serious issue. Your conversations might be monitored. CEO is out of touch with operations and passive-agressive. There's high turn-over because of stress, lack of appreciation, and politics. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 5.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 412954 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 Feb 14th, 2021 03:17AM Feb 14th, 2021 03:17AM Forensis Group Inc Industrials Support Services

private:forensisgroupinc https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=412954 Nov 13th, 2018 12:00AM Open Open ForensisGroup United States USA Nepotism and burnout You don’t have to deal with downtown traffic. The office is next to a metro station, which is convenient. Below industry salaries. Nepotism and cronyism is rampant. Due to recent turn overs, they are severely short staffed and burn out is common. No HR department. private:forensisgroupinc https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=412954 Jul 9th, 2018 12:00AM Open Open ForensisGroup Marketing United States USA Great Place To Work, Steady Growth & Awesome People - ForensisGroup gave me the opportunity to thrive and build valuable skills for my career. - You're given autonomy in your work and everyone contributes to their part. New ideas are encouraged. - My coworkers were amazing. Everyone there is friendly and respectful, laid back, but serious when it comes to helping clients. - Execs and management care about staff and truly value work-life balance. They treat the staff out to lunches and will sometimes give an extra day or half-day (paid) off for the holidays on top of regular work holidays. Very family-oriented culture. - Monthly bonuses are paid out in cash when the company hits their goals. - Bagel Fridays, birthday celebrations, TED talks, and company parties. - Decent benefits including 401k, medical and dental, PTO and more. - Nice office and city to work in. - Not sure about other departments, but since I was on the marketing team, I felt there were hardly any opportunities for collaborating with departments outside of mine. - Some days can go by slow. - Unless you're passionate about the legal space, some of the work could be dry, but that also depends on the nature of the case. - It takes a while for a new idea to get off the ground. - Running out of office space as more people come, which is a good problem to have. - There's a probation period prior to receiving full employee benefits during the first few months of employment. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 2.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 5.0 412954 Open Keep up the great leadership and recognizing employees' hard work. There were constant reminders that the work I did built towards the bigger picture to help the company grow. In addition, management was always trying to incorporate me into different tasks to give me an opportunity to grow and learn in my 2 months stay. Databasing can get stale; however, management never failed to thank you for the work and were very understanding of the task. 1.0 POSITIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL 0.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 0.0 0.0 5.0 412954 Open Keep being such welcoming individuals! 0.0 [] INTERN No No 1.0 Feb 14th, 2021 03:17AM Feb 14th, 2021 03:17AM Forensis Group Inc Industrials Support Services
