Your Team Has Your Back
|
I've worked at a few agencies, and you will have a solid team at Forix that actually has your back when you need it. Management is management, they've got different priorities and I don't get how some people don't understand that. That being said as long as you communicate, own up to mistakes, and put in effort you'll be fine.
Also it's located in a great location, but parking can be rough. If you love going to Timber games, this can be a big plus.

Solid team and challenging projects
|
You have a great team backing you up and people actually go out after work together one in a while. Clients can be a mixed bag though, and some are awesome but others can be unpredictable and challenging. Not a regular schedule job all the time since you have to work around launches, deadlines, and client campaigns so some flexibility is needed. The company lunches, flex Fridays, and snacks help a lot though.

Great coworkers, mediocre management
|
Things to note: this company pays significantly below market rate for all positions, and tends to hire mostly inexperienced people. Management has a condescending attitude toward employees and is always trying to pay each employee the bare minimum, yet becomes offended when good employees leave for higher pay. They also take discussions about pay increase and resignation very personally, and tend to have unprofessional and emotionally charged conversations with employees centered around these topics. They are good at managing their company but are very unsuited to working with people.
Having said that, the people you work with (other than management) are outstanding, and the office culture is very friendly and welcoming. There are wonderful people working there who are committed to their job and to not letting the team down. This is a great place to get experience.

No loyalty to employees. Work late at night. Unprofessional President. Great location, near many food establishments. Max is very close. Open work environment.
