It was enjoyable and beneficial for a number of reasons but there were also the downsides.
|
|
The best reasons to work there are the liberty there is working independently, providing a service and working with customers. The drives are always enjoyable. And there's making new friends.
|
The main challenge is poor pay; the extensive cost of driving and vehicle upkeep is not compensated and payment collections can be real pain with some stubbern case customers not paying on time or not at all, or moving without paying their bills.

Perhaps consider some reimbursement for transportation cost (ie. gasoline). They most definitely should, or must, give proper tax-filing council to their carriers, as they are under the legal heading of ' independant contractors', because it is a terrible mess filing taxes, especially if they're back taxes and they're after you for that employment, or else they should change the carriers back to being standard employees of Fresno Bee.
