It just depends on what the Management's like at the time you get the job. I was a sales associate which I enjoyed working with businesses here in the local area. Very structured pay scale and commission not a lot of movement. Management was okay upper management was not good.

I called companies trying to convince them to advertise with the Fresno Bee newspaper.
Verbal skills both with co workers and over the phone.
Management was fair.
Contacting people who didn't want to be contacted was the hardest part of the job.
Making a sale was the most enjoyable part of the job.
