Great company to work for.
|
They were an absolute joy to work for. I enjoyed every day that I worked for this company. Sadly my departure was not my choice but it in no way reflects on the company but on an individual.
Nonetheless they are a great company and worth working for.

Great place to work but requires weekend shifts
|
Team is great. They are very employee oriented. Management is willing to work with you to resolve any issues. I'm not confident in the presence of upward mobility.

Thanks for helping me start a digital career.
|
The times were good! I do not have any negative things to say. It was a very positive environment but I think the "industy/direction" may have changed since I've been there.

VERY rude and POOR management. Low morale.
|
Everyone I worked with hated their job because of the newer management put in place. They have no idea how to talk to their staff without being condescending and quite rude. Don't bother wasting your time. The turnover is horrific at this moment in time.

Uneven
|
Working at Friendemic is a very uneven experience. Some weeks it's very slow, devs are not sure what to do. Then the management sells a new feature without consulting with the teams, and the chaos begins. This happens every other month or so. Teams get restructured, panic ensues, people work overtime to get the feature done. Then it slows down again.
Long term vision for the company is a blur, with many people thinking that the upper management is looking for an exit strategy. The employee churn is high, most don't stay past a year or two. The company has been hiring more and more developers through temp talent agencies.
It's probably an OK place to work for junior devs to gain some experience, but I wouldn't recommend this to mid to sr level engineers.

Casual, supportive office

Good office environment where co-workers are your friends, yet still hold each accountable for work responsibilities. Flexible hours to help with work/life balance.

Super Fun Place To Work
|
I went to work at Friendemic because of the culture and to gain experience. I ended up learning a ton from my bosses. The people are probably the best part. Great friends and super cool to see everyone progress in their careers.

Favorite job I've ever had.
|
While I worked at Friendemic, I was able to truly love coming to work. My co-workers were some of the funnest people I've ever been around. I was fairly compensated and after a year my raise request was fully approved. Management is concerned about employee happiness, which helped sustain morale through the ups and downs of business. I would gladly work at Friendemic again and I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to suggest them to a friend or colleague.

Fun place to work, but not for more than a year.
|
Controlled the social media for 6-10 different car dealerships at a time. Every morning I would scour the Internet for relevant posts and then post them throughout the day for each dealership. Working with car dealers is really tough since their marketing managers are narrow minded and not willing to try much. Creativity is stifled quite a bit.
Friendemic had a good idea to begin with, but they failed on their promise to branch out from working strictly with car dealers. The work environment is fun since it's comprised of recent college graduates who all share a common mentality and lifestyle. Management was fine, but I never felt that I could put confidence in them.
|
Fun environment. Learned a lot about social media. Made great friends.
|
Extremely mundane work. Iffy management.
