They're pretty desperate for warm bodies. Work hard, deliver positive results, present new ideas = no raise and no promotion Do the bare minimum, deliver average results, go with the flow = no raise and no promotion SVP and CEO treat you like you are picking their pockets whenever payday rolls around. private:friendfindernetworks https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=195597 Sep 6th, 2020 12:00AM Open Open FriendFinder Networks Engineering Campbell, CA Cool coworkers + arrogant, out-of-touch upper management = a "just okay" place to work - Great benefits. Among other things, a solid health insurance package, a 401K that they match up to a point, quarterly bonuses if revenue goes well each quarter, and four weeks of personal time off (caveat: vacation and sick days are not treated separately). - An easygoing office environment with great crew of people to work with. For one thing, a very diverse group of co-workers compared to other tech companies. And by that I don't just mean racial and ethnic diversity, but also a very even gender balance in the office and also a solid mix of age ranges including plenty of people over 40. Because of all this, it doesn't have the kind of smug "tech bro" cockiness that I've seen at many other tech companies. - Relatively decent work-life balance on the whole. Short answer: arrogant, ignorant, narrow-minded and out-of-touch upper management. They only care about short-term profit and revenue and in fact are insanely obsessed with it. Because of this, they're focused purely on adding new bells and whistles to their product while ignoring the fact that it is built on a horribly outdated technology stack which has not been updated since before the 2010's. They refuse to update their technology because they believe it will cut into their short-term profits, and they also refuse to listen to their bottom-level employees or even their mid-level managers. All of this results in a stagnant engineering culture. Honestly, considering the people in FFN's top management, it's a small miracle that FFN isn't a far worse place to work. Bottom line: FFN is an okay place to work if (1) you just want a steady paycheck, or (2) if you need a paycheck in the meantime while waiting for a better job to come along. If you are serious about your career, I do NOT recommend making this place your long-term home. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL -1.0 DISAPPROVE 2.0 3.0 4.0 3.0 2.0 5.0 1.0 195597 Open None, because they won't listen anyway. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 0.0 Feb 15th, 2021 12:10AM Feb 15th, 2021 12:10AM FriendFinder Networks

It's not that bad of a place to work. Who doesn't like facing new challenges, having a great work-life balance, and working with great people? Those are just a few pros for working at FriendFinder. Not one day goes by without me looking forward to coming into the FriendFinder office. Plus, the media content is unique. Working on the Technology team side, this is a good place to learn or fine-tune your experience in the newer technologies and to focus on projects. Supercharge Your Career. If you want to know, feel and see that your contributions make a difference - this is an unique 20+ years Silicon Valley Corporation where every person still matters. If you have learned that money follows value - this is the factory to sharpen any relevant skill of yours, use it in production and enjoy the rewards. If you would like to be part of a strong team of individuals and prefer a revenue generating production vs hyped or undervalued start up - you will find friends and frenemies to remember and value for life here. Depending on your circle of friends might not be a glorious line of products to brag about after church or at Thanksgiving dinner. Not a 9 to 5 place, so consider wisely if your understanding of work life balance is the presence of the factory bell calling you in and out vs integrating your work effort into your life flow. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 195597 Open Communicate an undeniable vision. 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 6.0 Feb 15th, 2021 12:10AM Feb 15th, 2021 12:10AM FriendFinder Networks

The employees are like family and work very cohesively together. Management has been doing a good job in making sure this culture stays for the employees. I hope my future years are as inspiring and cool as there is no where else I would like to work. Benefits are very competitive and flexibility by management with their teams makes the work life balance work.
