Gefen used to be a family environment with lots of room for growth and opportunity. There was stability.
|
Corporate takeover has killed the company. Several corporate members have jumped in and are trying to run this business based on what they think works on paper. The family atmosphere is dead. Employees are ignored and disregarded. All upper management has been removed. Many key employees have also been let go or quit. Working conditions have become unbearable.

Lot's of changes with a major overhaul in process from Top to Bottom

People are friendly and despite the purchase by Nortek out of RI many years ago it operated much the same until recently. Casual work environment, products are exciting and there is genuine interest by most of the team to be successful. Corporate is putting in infrastructure to make it "world class status" so innovative additions in the wind.
|
Recent makeover and oust of all the senior management including founder. Replaced with corporate A team list but they lack leadership talents, synergy and product knowledge. Unable to determine future of this company as operations and talent is in a state of flux. Morale at all time low and uncertainty in the air.
