There isn't an office in Sydney so if you need to have poeple around this probably isn't for you. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 5.0 827322 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 6.0 Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Generation-e

private:generation-e https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=827322 May 19th, 2017 12:00AM Open Open Generation-e Sales Melbourne Great team, faced paced, always on point with tech. What stands out at Generation-e is defiantly the people you get to work with. In each department there are not only great people but some are truly at the top of the game in their area. The business has a history of picking the next tech trend, which stops the day-to-day from being stale and keeps it interesting from and sales and delivery perspective. Not sure if this is unique to Generation-e, but it is fast paced and you're trusted to make the right decision without being micromanaged (you can always find someone to help if needed). If that doesn't work for you, this may not be the place. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 5.0 827322 Open 0.0 [] No No 6.0 Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Generation-e
private:generation-e https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=827322 May 19th, 2017 12:00AM Open Open Generation-e Software Sales Specialist Sydney Great place to work Full autonomy to run your own show without someone breathing down your neck Fair compensation These guys are technically sound and leaders in their space Good team dynamic with high calibre people on the team Nowhere is perferct I currently work at a global software vendor that people are queueing up at the door to get into, but it is by no means without problems despite being one of the most desirable places to work on the planet. I look back at my time at Gen-e with fondness, really a great place to work if you can get one with people and are willing to work hard. Clearly some disgruntled ex employees on this review platform intent on doing harm with nothing better to do. Disapointing...even when I depart somewhere not on the best terms I look forward, not back little to be gained by being stuck in the past 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 5.0 827322 Open keep doing what your doing 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 4.0 Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Generation-e
private:generation-e https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=827322 May 17th, 2017 12:00AM Open Open Generation-e Productivity Architect Richmond, Victoria Fast paced and fun environment I have worked at Generation-e for almost 2 years and I have to say that I am truly enjoying it. Generation-e is a fast paced company that is growing and expanding into new areas making it an exciting place to work. The people and culture are great. Working with highly motivated and intelligent people makes for a fun and interesting work environment. While getting work done is the focus we all have fun as well. Senior management is easy to work with and to talk to. Management often asks for opinions, and in this case, really wants to hear them. I enjoy working with the management team. As a growing company some of the procedures need to be updated or changed to accommodate the new areas of the business. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 5.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 827322 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 2.0 Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Generation-e
private:generation-e https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=827322 May 17th, 2017 12:00AM Open Open Generation-e Australia AUS Check your pockets on your way out Can attract smart, technical people, pay is above average (hint: there's a catch) Cutting corners is the name of the game; if you like to work on interesting projects and then be asked to do them in half the time allocated and without delivering a working solution, this is the place for you. Profit first and customer service last. There seems to be a severe case of Stockholm Syndrome permeating the organisation and the only time you collaborate with peers is to commiserate about the situation you've found yourself in. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 4.0 1.0 2.0 2.0 1.0 3.0 1.0 827322 Open You must go through a lot of Gaviscon - might be worth listening to your staff for once 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 4.0 Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Generation-e

If this fits into the way you do business, this is a great place to work. This is not a job for greedy hunter sales people who churn and burn customers for the quick sale. You mush show initiative at Generation-e. Don't sit around waiting for something to happen or a direction to go in. private:generation-e https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=827322 May 16th, 2017 12:00AM Open Open Generation-e Melbourne You get out more than you put in Generation-e pays above average salary, has respect for family and personal commitments and has a focus on your personal and professional development. Generation-e has a culture of seek forgiveness not permission. As a highly distributed company that is growing fast , Generation-e people are encouraged to work independently and there is really only measurement of output not activity. This does not work for all employees - particularly those that cannot stay focussed on the task at hand and need micro management. If you are confident, self motivated and mature in your approach or someone younger looking to accelerate their career, Generation-e is an ideal fit but don't expect to come and put your feet up and be told exactly what to do at each step. 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 POSITIVE 1.0 APPROVE 0.0 5.0 4.0 4.0 4.0 5.0 4.0 827322 Open Don't try to take on too much - delegate more to the team and they will surprise! 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 20.0 Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Generation-e
private:generation-e https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=827322 Apr 21st, 2017 12:00AM Open Open Generation-e Melbourne Lack of management maturity The company is too small for politics to exist. Pays market rate for top talent. This organisation says it has great people, culture, and clients. They say they are passionate about what they do and make good money. People are just cattle to them and are often overworked. If you dare complain the CEO will comment about how much people are paid and therefore expect from them. There is a culture of mockery, sexual innuendo, and swearing. If you raise a concern about it you will be told you need thicker skin. You are expected to travel at the drop of a hat. The family excuse will wear thin after a while. The CTO expects people to work all hours of the day, just because he does. Statements like "just update your sales pipeline at night with your laptop on the couch while watching TV" show a lack of care for life/work balance. The CEO will be nice to your face, but will quite happily publicly mock you for your taste in clothes/music/food/anything just to get laughs. Again if you complain the CEO will tell you that you need thicker skin. The culture is non-existent: they have a Xmas party once a year, beyond that any staff interaction is purely organic (eg. people organise themselves to get kebabs for Friday lunch). While some clients like the business, many actually hate it - especially the project management as it is too rigid. The management is not mature. They act like they are bigger than they are, and often will go out and start big company processess or systems only to give up and go back to the cowboy approach as that was easier. There is no career progression here. There is no "team". You are paid to do a job so just do it. The organisation has no HR systems or management in place, or even external advisory service. The management are not up to speed on employee rights and will debate them with you. Only work for this place if you are happy to do what you're told and work relatively in isolation in exchange for a decent pay cheque. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL -1.0 DISAPPROVE 8.0 2.0 3.0 1.0 1.0 3.0 1.0 827322 Open Engage a HR advisor, build a *real* culture, 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Feb 21st, 2021 08:31PM Generation-e
