Keep the constant loop of feedback for employees. Personally, this loop of feedback is invaluable to me because it lets me know when/what I am doing well, and what I can improve on. Additionally, the executives keeping all employees in mind and informing us of company matters is very appreciated. It is a pleasant feeling to know that management is doing their best to care for employees.

This is the longest I've worked for a company. It's grown a lot - but the culture is still the same. I've been moved to numerous interesting projects when our projects or contracts ended. That is not normal based on what I hear from my peers. I hope as we continue to grow due to our success, we can still feel like a small family owned business. I have always felt that the management cares about every employee, and that consistency is why I sought out this opportunity to brag about our company. Oh yeah - we have employee ownership and I've got ownership. Pretty cool.

I definitely see growing pains. I know they are doing their best to keep up - but I just hope we can keep the culture. So far, so good. Please keep it up.

Corporate seems not to value our office as highly as others. They get an entirely different set of holidays. Holidays are taken as mandatory PTO. Need to jump through hoops to get training. People responsible for approving training are hesitant to pay for it. Pay is a joke even when company sees high profit margin.

Treat your folks well even if they don’t work in Louisiana. Separate PTO from holidays. Promote professional growth and don’t get cheap on training and conferences. Pay everybody what they are worth, not just engineers, directors, and executives.
