Geocent has a phenomenal culture and, subsequently, the work is more enjoyable. I personally enjoy the challenges and work presented to me a great deal, and I'm given the freedom and resources to try and best accomplish tasks. Therefore, I do believe that the management at Geocent is incredible, especially for the time they spend to take care of the employees as best they can. The work is challenging, yet enjoyable and fun. The culture builds upon this, and makes collaboration and work that much better. Good benefits and training opportunities. The work is contract work, which some people do not find preferable. I feel as though my voice gets heard by management and across departments. I get compensated and recognition for hard work. The holiday parties and corporate team-building are always fun and entertaining. There ARE challenging and frustrating days like with any job. But - because the company always puts their employee's first, those times of challenge are just part of the job. As an example, benefits could be better - who wouldn't like more time off - but the company has improved the benefits every year and provided new offerings. They ask - and listen to us about where we would like the improvements. The work is fast paced in a fun and exciting way using Agile practices, so poor performers can't hide. My biggest pet peave in other companies was letting poor performers skate by while others carry the load. Geocent is good at putting people in the right spots, and recognizing when someone is not right for the position, and willing to make the necessary changes, in a fair and professional manner. They are willing to relocate people. The most enjoyable part is working with co-workers that value each other, and everyone wants to help everyone succeed. Geocent has really shown how much they value Employees and our families during this Covid-19 pandemic. We've got extreme flexibility, frequent communication, and provided whatever help we need. It's very comforting in such an uncomfortable time. Lots of Lunch and Learns across projects and locations, learn about very interesting projects such as space travel, ability to reach out to others across the company for help, full transparency by management.
