You do need to be prepared to read the project's instructions, check your work, and make requested edits, otherwise, it won't work for you. The account managers are always on-hand to help and advise. There are some really interesting projects to write and opportunities to work with regular clients. All in all, a great company to claim freelance writing work, and they are very fair and honest. Great communication - account managers are super responsive. They are always looking for ways to improve, find more opportunities, raise the bar - and it comes through in the income potential. I really can't think of any. I wrote a $100+ article for them, thousands of words. After submitting it before the deadline, they sent me an edit request. Fair enough, but just two hours later (mind you, this was in middle of the night in New York), they cancelled the project and refused to pay me. Edit requests must be anticipated and factored in when setting deadlines for projects. I wasted precious time when I could have made more money with other clients. Very frustrated. Two hours is not fair for writers!!!
