Pretty solid company

(I wanted to give 4.5 start, but rounded up to 5)
- Everyone I have encountered at the company have been pretty awesome. Supportive, easy to talk to, generally folks with good intentions who care about the company mission and being good teammates.
- It's a company culture centred it's mission which aligns with my values - love the idea of helping small businesses win
- It's a steady growth org that opens up opportunities for top performers
- Leadership provides tons of transparency in company meetings - open to all documentation for people to read on company strategy, etc. Pretty cool

- Jobber could probably do better in terms of enabling remote work in more countries than Canada and the US.
- They do offer uncapped wellness days which is nice, but a bit more time specific to vacation would be awesome.

Don't get tricked by "great culture"

- the people (individual contributors .... NOT management) you will work with some of the most down to earth people
- work from home
|
- micromanaged to the EXTREME. You will be watched like a hawk and every single text/email/phone call and key stroke will be questioned. They frame this in a way that it's helping with your "development" but won't ever actually work with you to develop these skills. This is mostly because People Leaders are also overworked and don't have the capacity to work 1x1 with their team,
- LOW PAY...if you're looking for a career level job keep looking. The work load vs. payout is not worth it.
- Prepare for burn out. Even when you hit target, you'll be questioned on why you didn't do MORE.
- PL managers are mostly ok.. but senior management is out of touch with the role.
- the culture is shifting here in a negative way. When I started at Jobber..i'd give it a 10/10. Now I'd give it a 4/10. sad to see this happen at a once great company!

- pay your people more. the workload only increases as you add different products/targets to hit/sell. The workload is not worth the compensation at all.

-The work is rewarding and challenging, you're able to solve real problems and make the customers lives better

-Very low vacation time comparatively, this really needs to be addressed ASAP and overhauled. Overworked employees = higher turnover and that's a fact. Offer all employees 4 weeks to start and then increase from there.
-Burnout can be a real issue here, you need to vocalize when your workload is too much and take the vacation/sick days you need to regroup if needed
-Health benefits aren't great, they're good - dental is low and there's no coverage for egg freezing, etc.
-Parental leave top-ups could be improved, it's fine but not great
-A lot of teams are VERY siloed and communication could be greatly improved

Hire and Fire culture, theres over 50 AE's and people get fired every couple weeks.
