Founders are driving the company to the ground

+ good product, that clients love
+ wonderful people you can collaborate with and learn from
+ mostly remote work with occassional meetups
|
- COO makes erratic, spontaneous decisions and is a very bad manager; CTO lacks empathy and projects his shortcomings on the team
- they're laying off people without logic, PIP, severance or simple decency - we've lost amazing performers, including people managers, sales, recruitment - all on a whim, even though those people continously excelled at their jobs
- toxic people are rewarded and promoted - even though they hurt their teams and people leave because of them
- even though work's mostly remote, all important decisions happen in the office and through politics
- there's a huge shift towards outsourcing workforce, which impacts the quality of the product and safety of our customers
- company values are a joke at this point, there's nothing "human" about how employees are treated
I hope I'll find a better gig soon, as surviving here takes a toll on everyone's mental health each day - the team's scared, overworked and in some cases- severely underpaid.
If you're considering joining Kisi - do yourself a favour and stay away.

There are some great people who work at Kisi
|
Stay away from this sinking ship of a company unless you want to be disrespected, berated, and fired with zero notice, PIP, or severance regardless of tenure. Multiple great people were let go in this fashion.

Great product market fit. No micromanagement, unless you need it.

Not a Con but the company is fully profitable with zero VC funding. Sometimes this makes things move a little slower than they should, but also means the company can make it's own decisions without a board of directors.

2. poor work life balance especially in a fully remote international team,
3. micromanagent, super not friendly for new grads

5. manager has no real leadership, when bad things happen, they let others to take the responsibility
