Can be a better place if
Some good team mates. Work culture is ok.
Bad organization of activities. Clueless management. CEO is hard to understand and very selective in promoting people. Once he said, he will only increase salary to those who started the company. That is terrible. Management assumes a lot and make decisions based on assumptions.

Most intentional company culture ever
This is the greatest company I have ever worked for. Never have I seen where people truly align with the company values. Leadership humanizes everything and everyone. Team members are so supportive. Truly a blessing to work here.
Long interview process but this is how intentional they are about inviting people to join this company.

Join only if you are great at politics
People are great to work with, your coworkers and teammates are helpful and friendly
Since the management has no clue about how the technology works, they go by the person that can talk with flowery language and great at presentations. Regardless of how work you put in. You can be best at your job, they wouldn't know because your manager will not be measure your success.

Best of the best....
The culture at Givelify sets it apart; it is highly inclusive and they are picky about their hires. The staff, regardless of position, are brilliant, engaged, and supportive of each other. It is difficult to *not* succeed - everyone is genuinely vested in your success I've been in the IT field for 40 years and am finally retiring shortly; it has genuinely been a pleasure and an honor to be able to step back after having worked for a company of this caliber. I have to say I'm leaving the company with genuine regret - it's been that great. Some of the pros (for me) has been the clear vision that goes far beyond the stark simplicity of "make money" into "make the world a better place", the diversity and supportive kindness of the staff, the constant search for better ways to do what needs to be done, the genuine commitment to those who depend on us, and the sheer brilliance and creativity of the environment and people.
It's very likely that if you work here, you're really going to care about this company, your job, and your coworkers. That means you're going to put more of yourself into it than you may have experienced elsewhere. You, as an individual, have to make sure you take time out on occasion and refresh your batteries. Everyone here works hard and is on their "A" game, but not because of unreasonable demands from the company. The management here often has to encourage their staff to take time off. I know that sounds odd, but it's quite true. And they will do their best to support your own career aspirations, your dreams, and you and your family. The executive management here cares about their staff as people. The company continues to grow at a rapid pace and they don't mess around if some process isn't working well. They are open to new ideas and methodologies and are going to work at a problem until it's solved. If you are change-averse, this might not be the best fit for you. In addition, the company is open to feedback from all employees, so if you want everything laid out for you, the expectation is really that you will actively take an interest in the company and contribute ideas to help build best practices for everyone. If the idea of influencing how you do your work is attractive, this is the place for you. Givelify has always been a remote-first company, so this can be a transition for those who have not worked this way in the past. It can be a challenge at times to work on a team with contributors that are located halfway around the world. There is also a heavy dependency on slack and zoom meetings that can be a pain at times, particularly if one or more team members are having connection issues. Givelify does handle this better than most, however, as they have years of experience in operating remote-first.

Everyone on the management team knows me and likely what I'm going to say here. The OKR process was my personal achilles heel; I really hated it and the executive team was very kind and patient with me. It takes weeks to do that planning, it isn't flexible , and it's too dependent on structure rather than intent. Other than finding a better way for that one area, the management team is already dedicated to making things better; for the world, for the company, for their teams, and for the people who work for them. You really can't get any better than that....

The best job I've ever had
1. Fully remote job. You can work from any place in the world 2. Multiculturality. There are people from all over the world, and there is a wonderful chance to work with lots of different and good people. 3. "Making the world a better place" is a stamp - almost every IT startup uses this phrase. However, in this particular case, I can say for sure that this company does make the world a better place. Being focused on the financial system for giving, it helps make charity simple and available for more people. Working here I feel that I'm doing something meaningful, something that helps people. 4. The company culture. It's all about kindness, respect and care. It gives opportunity to all employees to be seen and heard. 5. I've never met such amount of support from my collegues and my bosses like here, at Givelify. When I was passing through life difficulties, I met total understanding and support from the company which I didn't expect. This is the place where I feel that my skills are in demand for good and where I see opportunities to grow. This is likely the best job I've ever had in my life.

Overall a great place to work!
I really enjoyed the people I worked with at Givelify. They are highly intelligent, and fun to work with. Additionally, I appreciated their efforts to help us learn as developers, both by encouraging us to attend the occasional conference, and by having "Functional Days" that provided opportunities to explore ideas, learn something new, and have training for Givelify's infrastructure.
While I appreciated my co-workers overall, I wish management had provided more support for me, personally. I had the impression that I was somewhat of an odd duck, and that they couldn't figure out what to do with me.

In looking back on my experience at Givelify, I realized it would have helped if I had been kept more in the loop about priorities -- it would have helped me to know how my projects should have been deployed, when it was time to deploy them.

Poorly managed
It has good mission statement
Too cheap to hire engineers from US. A lot of hires are from abroad. Some of the senior engineers are promoted only because they speak louder than the others. Some of the senior managements are obnoxious and stubborn. they don't listen to feedback at all, and they think they are always right. The application is a mess due to poor technical leadership
