Privately-owned has its perks.... they're also a Benefit and B Corporation which adds value to you and the local community. Company pays for employee's medical, dental, and vision insurance in addition to matching 401K. Everyone is given the opportunity to volunteer during work hours at least once a month. You're treated like family if you take the time to get to know your coworkers. Short staffed – so you actually have to work hard for your paycheck. Management is clueless as to how to run a successful Sales department and Company as a whole. Owners are completely uninvolved in the management of the company they don't get along so you can expect disfunction elsewhere. Senior Management calling all the shots to the demise of the company and the people who believe in the company's mission. It is a sad, sad place to work unless you are buddies with senior management and do all of his bidding. Co founder Mike is great and dedicated to the mission. Colleagues on every team are very helpful and caring. You don’t want to work with Mark. He is not a supportive manager, he throws projects at you at different stages with little to no background info and expects you to drop everything for it. During the interview process he over promised, once I began working there he under delivered. He was not there for his employees. He admitted to being apart of the problem and making the work place an unhappy one. He is only concerned about his quota. He is not apart of the solution. Their own internal team can't get along with each other. No communciation within this company. Very poor and untrained Sales Managers. They also tell a story about their "Giving Back" to local non-profit organizations. I questioned this as well. Just look at the turnover in the sales department..
