The company was a good place to work over all. They really tried to be good company it just was a bit out of their reach in the end. Company unfortunately ended up going into insolvency. Not sure it was one thing in particular.

Not a great place to work
|
Terrible pay alongside poor management and systems. The processes are very outdated compared to other Insurance companies. They purposely look for loop-holes to avoid paying out premiums to claimants who were involved with accidents. When I worked there I was informed we were allowed 15min breaks, after using the break time it was banned immediately.

Able to cross train
|
Was always encouraged to explore different aspects of the department to see what route you wanted to go in your career. Not only that but actually touch/work certain applications and make changes, in which I was able to pick up a lot of knowledge that I’m sure I wouldn’t have been able to in other companies.

Cross training with other teams

Immediate supervisor was a joke would not practice what they preach (teamwork), would always pass the bucket and force someone to pick it up knowing that they could, complain about what team is doing wrong and ok when they do the same thing.

Its the best job I ever had
|
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at ACCC Insurance. We had a great team and we all seemed to help each other out when needed. Its a great place to work! Everyone seemed to work hard. The pay and benefits are very competitive with much larger companies if not better. If I had to complain about the company it would be the insurance product needs improvement. The customers are always angry.

Straight forward & easy to manage
|
I used to work for the claims department & if you can multitask and handle tough customers then the job is fairly easy. We worked different browsers/systems and either took details of accidents, transferred calls, or scheduled appointments. Management was always nice and training was very specific which helped a lot. A few perks would be the gym and cafeteria in house plus an hour lunch break. My only thing was that even though I learned quick and was training other agents 2 months in I was never expressed a sense of moving up until I could complete a year with the company. Pay was average for a small call center. My leaving had nothing to do with the company and was solely a decision I made to move on to something different. I’m not sure how they run things now as it’s been a few years but my experience was great for my first call center.

Pay was the only reason I left. The people were great and the managers were awesome when I was there. Everyone got along really well, but the money was not right for the work
