I quickly learned that as a sales agent, I was not valued, and did not even have access to the necessary tools that were available to the regular full-time sales reps out of the New York office. Once hired, we were to join in on weekly sales meetings, but eventually these meetings were either canceled, or, we were purposely left off of a call. At one point we were connected and then hung-up on, and after emailing the team regarding the issue (of not being connected to the conf. call) we were completely ignored. I'm not sure if GlassView still hires sales agents, but when I was with the company it seemed as if they hired sales agents to bulk up their database of contacts. There are no geographical territories, so it's every man for himself and you can imagine the fights that break out over that level of disorganization. Once the sales agent gets frustrated and quits, the full-time salaried reps in NY take over all of the contacts brought in and work to develop the relationship. GlassView has no intention of hiring their sales agents to full-time status, they take advantage of sales agents to bring in new contacts. They don't train, they don't support, and they don't even talk to you once you join as an agent unless you demand a meeting. They simply want you to bring in leads and later feel frustrated so you quit. If you need to put something on your resume, by all means go for it - especially if you don't mind wasting your time and you have no problem with management taking complete advantage of you. | 0.0 | 0.0 | 2.0 | 2.0 | 1.0 | 1.0 | 1.0 | 1.0 | Jan 22nd, 2021 08:11AM | Mar 20th, 2021 01:22PM | GlassView | ||||
