Needs lasting structure
|
Too much job turn over. They get someone new in charge, they make huge changes, then they are let go and the process starts all over again. Those who have been there the longest resist change, dislike and disrupt and positive adjustments for the sake of saving their own skin.

Great place with lots of opportunity for growth

As the company is becoming more structured and focused on transparency, the leadership has informed all employees along the way on changes, future expansion, and things that are being done to make the company and opportunities even better. New technologies are in the plan in order to ease some of the burden from current staff. Leadership has heard some of the feedback from current employees and previous employees and is focused on the longevity, culture, and overall working atmosphere. Many many great people work at Globalhealth and management seems to want the best for their staff and departments. Positive things are happening and I am thrilled to be a part of the present and future of this company.

The company invested their money in me to train for the Nurse Case Management position and the manager accused me of lying, falsifying charting, and threaten me on multiple occasions. She was unprofessional and micromanaging. Not only that she threatened to turn me into the Oklahoma Board of Nursing. Then I was let go. Completely horrible experience, in which I’m sure there is a very high turnover with this particular manager there.

GlobalHealth's workplace culture needs significant improvement.
|
Executives at GlobalHealth are far disconnected from knowing and recognizing employee struggles. They are more concerned about member experience than internal employee experience. They should focus more on employee engagement and improving culture which would in turn increase customer satisfaction and sales. You get what you give and they give random layoffs, no direction, and little transparency. There is no desire to implement new and better employee compensation and benefit programs for the general employee population. Leaders think that implementing a jeans dress code will help, but more, real action, needs to be taken. Leadership went through the motions of implementation of EOS to improve company culture and communication, but didn't execute and integrate the principles enough to make a real difference. Instead, all it did was create a culture of fear that you weren't "on the right seat on the bus" and may be let go. The only ones that might be benefiting from employment at GlobalHealth are those at the top, who make significant amounts of money to lead a poorly managed, financially unsound, and culturally corrupt organization with no accountability for the actions they take that affect those underneath them.

Too much Time Spent In Meetings - Cannot Recommend

This job been a roller coaster. The recent layoffs pretty much settled it for me and my family. Very stressful environment. I can't wake up every day wondering if any of our jobs will be here the next day. Company should be more transparent in their communications.
The hours were long. It was hard working 60+ hours per week and maintaining a healthy work / life balance. Benefits were okay. PTO was very lacking and not competitive with similar industries.
I cannot recommend GH given the lack of competitive benefits as well as the recent layoffs. A lot of great and talented people were lost in the layoffs; the layoffs should never have happened.
