Chill and tranquil workload, ok-pay in a cool location and workspace.

Racist, ignorant HR, and management - micromanaging like you wouldn't believe. Zero chance to grow within the company. Cliques and favorites, wolves in sheep's clothing all smiling at you. Long drive if you don't live close to the beach, with bumper-to-bumper traffic 100% of the way. Zero compensation for anything. Bonuses are almost non-existent and performance reviews are a joke. Management is an emotion-driven mess, if they don't like you or you try to stand up for yourself, speak your mind and call them out, you're gone.

There's an old saying that goes... "People don't quit their jobs, they quit their managers." and I believe it 100%. The supervisors and managers here are a complete joke. People so feebleminded and ignorant should not be given the slightest amount of power. If you stopped and think about who you hire, who you place in power and how you manage your company, you wouldn't have such a high turnover or have to lay off 20+ people every 2 years.

Staff is friendly, you get benefits like breakfast, gym membership, pension or health care.
There is many very talented and wonderful people and this is a good place to make some friendships.

The management don't care and don't respect their staff. There is absolute no transparency what is happening, the decisions are hidden from staff till people figure out on their own. The management focuses on blame game instead of resolving a problem when one occurs. Hence people are not willing to take responsibility and initiative.

Morality and ethics non-existent. Scammers at heart ' Google: 'Global Personals Scams' - for a view of what any future employee is likely to support.
Consider also independent reviews of end users of their platform. Anyone using their product should pay very close attention to T & Cs before signing up for services. Cancellation policy a hoot.

Unpaid overtime. Artificially inflated deadlines causing a high-pressure environment. Doesn't understand the concept of "time, features, quality: pick any two". Management talks the talk on agile, but refuses to walk the walk (ie, "you can do anything as long as *we* don't have to change").
