its Generally a good place to work, Great Benefits, very nice, fun, and diverse staff. HR Had quarterly events for staff, as well as games, contests, etc. They try their best to keep staff happy and as far as management, its obvious they know and appreciate staff as a whole, or as one, But on an individual level they dont really know anything about you. Challanges are considered excuses instead of learning opportunities to make things better, so Any real factors within the company preventing a person from completing their duties in a timely manner is seen as blame. So dont go there if you want to succeed, however the challenges remain if they are out of your control or jurisdiction, as if you try to fix them by crossing territories, you may be seen as a not so good Apple in the bunch. But in summary its definitely worth a shot if you get the chance to work there.

There are weekly or bi-weekly meetings, and everyone is super nice and positive. You can grab a bite to eat at the restaurants downstairs using your lunch discount. The management is very professional, but also keeps it real like working in a college dorm. People work many hours, but there is also freedom to advance in your career & study while you work. Management is open to new ideas and solutions that make the business more sustainable. The culture is also very unique & fun compared to other silicon valley companies. Most companies I've worked in are uptight and sound like they are AI robots controlled by big tech. You won't have that here. Everyone is super open-minded and cool.

This company is under a different management since I left. While working there it was a very unique adult-theme oriented culture. Because of the nature of work we did at GP, it was fun and relaxed. Yet this company might seem a bit non-traditional and non-conservative to many.

Fun sometimes, Management not so much
|
When I first got hired, my only job prior being in the food industry, it was like a dream. Half hour breaks plus two 15 min breaks that you didn't even have to clock out for, possible prize on Wednesdays if they pulled your name to spin a wheel of fortune prop they had, great coworkers who were patient and ready to help with any questions I had. Then people's true colors started to show and I observed rampant favoritism as well as crass unprofessional behavior within management and even human resources. Then the company announced a mass lay off. The entire office was cut down to less than 20 people, from what I was aware, not including management. We were moved an hour away to downtown Miami beach, where the traffic is literally killer and everything from food to gas cost more than twice as much as our previous location. We were not offered any compensation or pay raise for helping make the company's transition go smoothly. People continued dropping like flies, all my coworkers who had become my close friends, all leaving the company for better opportunities and as more people left, the less inclined they were to hire someone new to help the rest of us out as work continued to pile up, so they divided up the work among whoever was left, some duties previously designated for someone who was paid much more than our positions due to the seriousness and mentally disturbing content they had agreed to review, they even went as far as throwing in responsibilities that were previously designated for supervisors, and still our pay remained unchanged since the move. We were never asked, we were told, in spite of the fact that our core duties had next to nothing to do with content review, as they reminded us regularly. Instead we took a pay cut for the gas it took to get to the new office, and another when they insisted on changing our schedule to a time that ensured another hour's worth of traffic for the drive to and from work everyday. In the end, as an employee, I felt cheated.

Relaxed work environment for the most part. Company parties were fun.
|
Management, company does not promote growth as much as when they first advertised the job.

Great Job And Benefits; Bad Managment

Awesome place to work. Benefits coming out from everywhere. School Reimbursements, Gym Membership, Insurance, Etc...
Just stay under the radar, Do your job good and try not to get buddy buddy with management. They seem inviting, and they are, the only thing is they use your honesty against you.
You start working over night and its very hard to move up to day shifts.

hard work but great benifits

what i learned was how to check for credit card fraud and how to look for solicitation on a social network web site.
management isn't always on the same page when it comes verifying weather some thing is within the regulations of what the site allows, but as long as you call attention to it and report it up the ladder you won't get in trouble if it was approved and not allowed.
co workers were friendly people
multitasking through various website task while keeping the work load low
