You can make your own opportunities
I've been at this company for a while and it's cool to see how different it is from just one year ago. It's growing fast and there are tons of opportunities to work on interesting projects. Creativity and ideas are welcomed from all levels. The founders are involved in every facet of the business and they truly care. The company has also made a lot of strides in sustainability and proactively donating to important causes.
The work environment can be very demanding and fast paced but great for professional growth.

Everything isn’t what it seems
Great products and some travel
Very disorganized and a lot of negative energy. There were a lot of gray areas in the business. There’s no HR so you will have to figure out if you’re being taken advantage of. Low pay and unnecessarily long hours. Very clique-y/mean girl vibes from certain senior management and team members.

Be more welcoming and have more reasonable expectations from employees. Build bigger teams if you see everyone working late night all of the time.

Worst company I've worked for
Zero... beauty stipend cannot in any way make up for the cons

I would read the early reviews for this company. Not much has changed.

An amazing hands on experience that allowed for growth and a complex understanding of not only the company at hand but the beauty industry itself.

A very unique company
Working at Glow is more fun than any other corporate or admin/office job I've held. I can't speak for everyone but there seems to be much more encouraging, complimenting, and collaborating then you see at a lot of places. Hate to be cliche but my gut says it's because it's women owned and the owners are very hands-on. When a mistake is made, even a big mistake, there's no berating or talking down to. Close-knit vibes between co-workers, generous product allowance, laid back work hours, ability to work from home, timely raises, holiday bonuses. On a personal note, the biggest pro has been seeing the company expand so quickly while being a part of it.
It's gonna sound like they're asking me to write this but I promise they're not lol - honestly every con I ever considered was eventually turned into a pro. When I first started, they were very small and new and hadn't gotten payroll figured out yet, so there were late checks, etc. Then they got it together and brought on an official payroll system that pays a few days early, they offer medical now, etc. When I first started there was also a lot of confusion about "who did what", a lot of wearing tons of hats. Now that's been more ironed out and wearing a lot of hats is just part of Glow culture. You're expected to be flexible but rewarded and thanked for it.

There's room to improve the back-end systems, the website, and the warehouse relations. Some are things are out of their control and the plus is that management is aware of these issues and (I hope and believe) working on them.
