At a high level--all problems lead to the person at the top. The turnover here was incredible. Morale was terrible. Colin has no idea how to run a company. When the co-founder leaves, and all other c-level people "leave" those are enormous red flags.

3. Great opportunity to do high quality and impactful science and research within corporate environment and to learn a lot through this experience.
4. A lot of technically, scientifically, and analytically smart people to work with.
5. Enough opportunities to grow if someone is willing to take responsibilities.

1. Like many other companies in Cambridge and Boston, high turnover rate is a problem.
2. Like any other startups that are trying to find the best path and business strategy to becoming profitable, there are changes in directions which leads to laying off of individuals or groups, mostly not technical and scientific, that are not essential.

1. Hire a new CSO- we are a tech enabled science company. It does not look great to not have a CSO.
2. Be proactive to retain employees rather than reacting when an employee is about to leave.
3. Do a better job in highlighting what the GNS causal AI engine can do which other competitors can't do rather than being vague about the potential applications.

GNS delivers technology that uses causal AI to improve patient outcomes and accelerate drug discovery. Both products are competing well in the marketplace because of it's capabilities and the insights it can provide to pharma and healthcare payers.
Management does a great job at maintaining a sense of transparency through frequent updates and communication. Since the start of COVID, management has been really flexible and understanding of each employee's situations and needs. They care about the safety of their staff and don't want us rushing back into the office.

1-Roller coaster ride! Raise money, recruit, hire, fire and sell. Repeat, over and over. Very unstable environment run by overeducated, inexperienced neophytes.
2-There is no vision for technology as they have no CTO.
3-Poor management, no direction, all good employees are leaving. The company pays below market as a company policy and leadership rewards mediocrity. Management blames poor performance on employees and does not take responsibility.
4-Be prepared to have all staff members laid off or leave. Horrible turn over, crappy pay rates. Communication is HORRIBLE! Departments are so broken up that no one works together.
5-They hire sales people like crazy and pay for it by cutting the hardworking employees who actually do the work.
6-Every quarter a round of layoffs and employees are quitting in bulks
7-I suspect there will be additional rounds of cuts as the current leadership team has no clue about what it takes to build software.
8-Extremely political organization. Eg. they will tell you one thing to your face and behind the scenes they are saying negative things to sabotage you to superiors.
