Salaries are frequently re-negged once you receive an offer it is lower than initially promised and agreed upon. I personally had to have multiple contract revisions due to changes they had intended for me to not notice (vacation, sick days, compensation, illegal contract clauses).
Do not expect any compensation reviews after starting pay. On average most positions are hourly until you reach upper management. Many of the starting positions are only at minimum wage because they would pay you less if they could. Zero chance for growth.
Staff are not treated like humans, you are expected to be a robot and never get sick or take vacation. On top of giving only the legal minimum vacation time, they have blackout times where you are not allowed to take vacation, which is illegal in most places. The vacation expires so you only really receive a week or so a year that you are actually allowed to take while accruing.
You are micromanaged in everything from the work you do, to the slack messages you send, to the seconds you take to step away for water/washroom.
HR/payroll had repeatedly changed both my and coworkers hours logged which is both incredibly illegal and mentally taxing to work in an environment where you are constantly attacked.
Concerns brought to HR are ignored for even minor questions.
The company outsources multiple teams to foreign companies who are often the target of racist remarks from managers regarding their efficiency and value. I do not doubt the same remarks are said about US staff behind closed doors. The outsourced companies are repeatedly fired to be replaced with less respectable businesses where worker conditions are not a concern.
