private:gobridgit https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=1088584 Jan 12th, 2024 12:00AM Open Open Bridgit Poor timing good work-life balance decent benefits interesting work management seemed to pick favorites and there was no path to growth (despite asking multiple times) and promises were consistently dropped. Decisions were not met with proper reasons and even though you'd be there for a long time, the answers seemed to be corporate and not sincere. Conducted layoffs 2 weeks before Christmas, which is the absolute worst timing. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NO_OPINION 2.0 2.0 3.0 4.0 1.0 4.0 2.0 4.0 1088584 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 4.0 Open Jan 16th, 2024 09:20PM Jan 16th, 2024 09:20PM Bridgit

private:gobridgit https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=1088584 Jun 21st, 2023 12:00AM Open Open Bridgit No one cares about you at Bridgit Good benefits & unlimited vacation policy. One of the biggest issues I have with Bridgit is the lack of accountability. It seems like no one wants to take ownership of their actions, and instead, there’s a culture of blame-shifting when things don’t go as planned. This creates a toxic work environment where people don’t feel supported or valued. Employees are often given tasks that are beyond their job descriptions and salaries. When questioned or refused, management retaliates swiftly by terminating the employee or completely brushing off their concerns. This lack of transparency and fairness creates an overall sense of insecurity amongst teams. To make matters worse, Bridgit's leadership is lacking. Managers appear to be inexperienced and don’t seem to have a solid grasp on their own departments. This creates a demotivating work culture. You have no one to go to as your peers and manager will offer little to no assistance. It’s kind of disappointing to witness the decline of a company that used to be a good place to work. Hopefully, things get better but until then, just stick it out and ride the waves? Or find a company that actually cares about you… -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NO_OPINION 0.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 1.0 1088584 Open 0.0 [] REGULAR No Yes 0.0 Open Jun 23rd, 2023 10:39AM Jun 23rd, 2023 10:39AM Bridgit
private:gobridgit https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=1088584 Jun 7th, 2023 12:00AM Open Open Bridgit Annonymus Employee Kitchener, ON Not worth it for a startup Some good people to work with. Good benefits. Remote Work. Leadership is under constant scrutiny to deliver features as fast as possible, so there’s a lot of pressure for employees to get done work fast. Which meant features were delivered very poorly, requirements changed daily and roadmaps were never consistent. Managers, specially low level management never made the time to actually help employees. There is a lot of micromanaging and passing the blame to someone else in this company. Managers (some) seem to be more concerned with keeping their hands clean than actually helping their teams. The half day Friday’s are a big lie, I had people send me messages at all times of the day. I have never taken a vacation from the time I was there…that’s why they give unlimited vacations, because no one will take it. There is a very high turnover of employees here, from quitting to lay offs. I read all the reviews before accepting the job but decided to give the benefit of doubt. I was so wrong! Trust the low reviews. All the good ones posted here are from upper management. No actual employee has lasted more than a year or two there. Compensation is low for market, please do yourself a favour and do some salary research. They will offer you a low salary and say they have all these benefits for you but you will never actually use any of them. This product is trying to copy a much successful competitor but is failing to do so. I know times are tough in the tech industry but there are much better companies out there for you. The stress here is not worth it. There are a million startups that are doing a better job. -1.0 NEGATIVE 0.0 NEUTRAL -1.0 DISAPPROVE 0.0 1.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 2.0 1088584 Open Train your managers more, a lot of the times people leave due to poor management and bad culture. 0.0 [] REGULAR No No 2.0 Open Jun 9th, 2023 10:11AM Jun 9th, 2023 10:11AM Bridgit

Which meant features were delivered very poorly, requirements changed daily and roadmaps were never consistent. Managers, specially low level management never made the time to actually help employees. The 1-1’s here are a joke, is basically just casual talk. Managers(some) just use employees as scapegoats for when things go wrong. And micromanagement from executive level is real. The half day Friday’s are a big lie, even though they are always preaching work life balance, I had people send me messages at all times of the day and god forbid you actually take your half friday that the company gives you. I have never taken a vacation from the time I was there…that’s why they give unlimited vacations, because no one will take it. Compensation is low for market, please do yourself a favour and do some salary research. They will offer you a low salary and say they have all these benefits for you but you will never actually use any of them. I am incredibly surprised this company has investors and clients for that matter. The product is very bad, the two owners are very young, they are not relatable, not nice to talk to and have never worked a single day in the construction industry to know what people actually want. They just saw a product in the market and thought they could do better. But can’t! I know times are tough in the tech industry but there are much better companies out there for you. The stress here is not worth it. The majority of employees leave due to bad culture and poor management. Compensate people properly. Don’t preach work life balance if it won’t be practiced.
