No structure, leadership in the past has been appointed can cause destruction and then just leave. private:goddardcollege https://www.glassdoor.com?employer_id=22435 Nov 10th, 2017 12:00AM Open Open Goddard College Marketing Plainfield, VT Total Nightmare Kind people in most departments (except for the higher ups) There's so little structure that it's constant chaos, in a 2 months I had 4 different supervisors. The union is meant to protect you, but they didn't do an adequate job, and you pay dues from day 1, but they can't even really protect you until you've been their six months. They don't pay any severance if they terminate you, and people can just be appointed by the president (and then decide to fire you). If you're looking for long term stability, I would look elsewhere. -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 NEGATIVE -1.0 DISAPPROVE 2.0 1.0 2.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 1.0 22435 Open Look for long term structural fixes rather than constantly kicking the can down the road with interim titles. Incredible students, deeply committed co-workers, and a history of social justice that puts most institutions of higher ed to shame. Faculty are available and encouraging. There's a sense among staff and faculty that what the college teaches isn't what it preaches.
